New England Patriots receiver Stefon Diggs has had an eventful few seasons. After a season-ending ACL injury in 2024, he joined the Patriots in 2025 and helped take them to Super Bowl 60. There were several questions leading up to the season and whether Diggs would be healthy enough.
Meanwhile, his relationship with Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B has caught the attention of Patriots fans. Even though both are well-known in sports and music, Diggs and Cardi have taken their time with their relationship and kept things mostly private.
How Their Relationship Started
In the fall of 2024, rumors about Diggs and Cardi began when fans claimed to have seen them together. At that time, Diggs was still with the Houston Texans and recovering from an absence from the playing field. Cardi briefly addressed the rumors on Instagram Live, saying they were exaggerated and chose not to say more about the situation.
Later in the year, Cardi revealed to her fans that she was dating someone while going through her divorce from Offset, but she did not mention Diggs by name. After that, they were seen together more often, including at Coachella and a Met Gala after-party.
In May 2025, they made their relationship public after sitting courtside together at a New York Knicks playoff game. Then, later in the summer, she posted photos and videos with Diggs on Instagram, which left no doubt. Their relationship was then deemed official.
While promoting her album “Am I the Drama” in the fall of 2025, Cardi announced she was pregnant with Diggs’ child. The couple welcomed a baby boy on November 13, who is Cardi’s fourth child and Diggs’ third.
During the season, Diggs mostly stayed quiet, but he thanked Cardi for supporting him during his rehab and his return to football. Cardi also spoke online, asking fans not to spread rumors about their relationship.
As the Patriots moved forward in the AFC playoffs, Cardi was often seen cheering for the team. She attended several games, including the AFC Championship in Denver, where she joined Diggs on the field to celebrate their win. He has consistently thanked Cardi for being a steady support during his recovery and his first year with the Patriots.
