Offensive Line Help Is 49ers’ Consensus Draft Need
ESPN released an article discussing what each team still has to answer ahead of the draft at the end of the month, and while the 49ers have things to figure out at receiver, it doesn’t seem to be the biggest question mark in their eyes.
Offensive line help, as well as adding a corner in the NFL Draft, seems to be the focus of discussion for the team in the bay.

Dallas Robinson’s 3-Round 2024 NFL Mock Draft: 49ers Add CB
One of the problem spots for the 49ers outside of offensive line is in the secondary. While they’ll be monitoring Brandon Aiyuk and his situation to determine what they may need to add, the need for quality corner play is evident right now.
In PFN Analyst Dallas Robinson’s latest mock draft, he addresses that with a player who has a surprising fall down the draft board. San Francisco will not complain at all if this is how it unfolds for them — this player could easily go in the top half of Round 1.

49ers Sign Veteran CB Ahead of the Draft
While most of the focus is on the NFL Draft, the 49ers spent Thursday adding a veteran piece to a room that needs more talent. It won’t stop them from adding to the spot in a few weeks if the right prospect falls, but having a reliable piece in place cannot hurt.
The added piece comes from a winning program prior and may be able to fit in right away as an immediate starter.

49ers Held Local Day for Prospects on Wednesday
Whether it’s the NFL Combine or a program’s pro day, there are ample chances for these prospects to get in front of NFL personnel and show off their talent one more time. Another option comes by way of proximity, and invitation, and that is the team’s local days.
The 49ers held theirs on Wednesday afternoon, and it included draft hopefuls, as well as some free agents.
