NFL Free Agency Tracker 2024: Rumors, Signings, Trades, Cap Space, and More

The biggest wave of NFL free agency has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean the action has stopped. In mid-March, NFL teams began addressing their roster holes by signing players on the open market and retaining their internal free agents. There also were trades, releases, and other notable roster moves.

It was a lot to monitor, but the roster maneuvering still isn’t over. That’s why we’re updating our tracker daily.

NFL Free Agency Tracker: Details of Free Agency

NFL free agency officially started Wednesday, March 13, at 4 p.m. ET, when teams and players were able to make new deals official.

However, the unofficial start to free agency was two days prior, when teams were permitted to speak directly with unrepresented players or with agents who represent pending free agents.

Known as the “legal tampering period,” the 52-hour window produced a flurry of reported agreements that became official later in the week.
