Rhamondre Stevenson’s biggest game of his career has arrived. With millions of people watching, Stevenson will have to bring his best against a tough Seattle Seahawks defense. While he’ll be set to play a big role in the Super Bowl, get to know his parents, Juran and Robert, who helped him achieve his dream.
Juran and Robert Stevenson Have Been the Pillars for Rhamondre Stevenson’s Success
Rhamondre was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, alongside six other siblings. In an interview with the Boston Globe, Juran had revealed the struggle of raising seven children.
“My husband and I were not rich,” Juran said. “We have seven children. We’re not wealthy, but we’re not able to get any kind of public assistance or any kind of grants or anything like that. Because our income — my husband makes good money, I make good money — but when you have seven children, it’s barely nothing.”
To make ends meet, they worked tirelessly, but never let Rhamondre stop from chasing his dreams. Before every game, Rhamondre used to talk to Robert on the phone and exchange texts with Juran.
Rhamondre calls Robert his ‘best friend’ and biggest supporter. Unfortunately, Robert passed away in March 2025 at just 54 years old. This left a major hole in Rhamondre’s life, losing his best friend. But Rhamondre certainly doesn’t forget the impact his father had on him and makes sure to carry his memory with him each and every time he steps onto the field on game days.

Rhamondre wears a bracelet holding his father’s ashes so that Robert is with him every step of the way, just like when he was growing up as a young boy aspiring to make the NFL. Rhamondre has often spoken about the impact his father has had.
“Me and my dad were best friends,” he said in a 2025 interview with WBZ’s Dan Roche. “Every time I come out here, I hear his voice talking to me … I know he is still with me and carrying that love with me and my family.”
Surely, Rhamondre will be itching to make his family proud one more time with a great performance in the Super Bowl.
He is the 38th-ranked running back in PFSN’s RB Impact score. With the task of lead back for New England, it’s time for Rhamondre to show everything he can as his family watches him on the big stage.
The Patriots are going to their 12th Super Bowl, but this is Rhamondre’s first and will hold an important place in his heart. This is his first season without Robert, and he will likely have a chip on his shoulder to get one last win this season to honor his father.
