The Baltimore Ravens were feeling good heading into their Week 13 divisional matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals after winning five games in a row. However, the success would come to a screeching halt after the team turned the ball over four times and lost to the Bengals on Thanksgiving.
With the 32-14 loss bringing them back to .500, here’s a look at the Ravens’ chances to make the 2025 NFL playoffs.
Can the Baltimore Ravens Still Make the NFL Playoffs?
The loss is tough for the Ravens as they had fought hard to get over .500 after a 1-5 start to the season. According to PFSN’s NFL Playoff Predictor, heading into the Week 13 AFC North matchup, Baltimore had a 60.5% chance of making the playoffs and a 58.2% chance of winning the division. These were extremely impressive odds, considering they lost five of their first six games.
However, after the loss to Cincinnati on Thanksgiving, the Ravens’ chances of making the playoffs dropped by 21.5 percentage points to 39%. While not as significant a decline, their odds of winning the AFC North also dropped substantially, by 20.7 percentage points to 37.5%.

What’s interesting is that despite the five-game win streak, the Ravens sit in the bottom half of PFSN’s Offense and Defense Impact metrics.

While quarterback Lamar Jackson has missed a few games, the offense as a whole has struggled in 2025, ranking 24th in the NFL with an impact score of 70.7. The defense has shown slight improvement, but still ranks 18th in the league with an impact score of 74.
Expectations were high in Baltimore heading into the season, and Jackson being out for three weeks won’t be enough to excuse a poor result for the season. Head coach John Harbaugh’s seat is getting hotter with every season that passes with Jackson under center. Missing the postseason could spell an end to his tenure in Baltimore.
However, it would not necessarily be clear where the Ravens would transition to without a wealth of options to take over as the head man. Harbaugh has been a solid presence for the Ravens since 2008. Despite winning a Super Bowl in 2012, a Harbaugh-led Baltimore squad has failed to win two consecutive playoff games since.
Jackson continues to be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, and it’s understandable why the Ravens front office would be ready to find another coach if Harbaugh misses the playoffs in 2025. However, Baltimore still has a chance to make the playoffs if it can pull off an impressive run down the stretch.
