Ravens Predicted to Select Arizona State WR Jordyn Tyson to Upgrade Lamar Jackson’s Weapons

The Baltimore Ravens are predicted to draft Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson with the 14th pick to bolster their offense.

After finishing with a regular-season record of 8-9, the Baltimore Ravens will make their selection with the 14th pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Despite the team’s poor finish last season, they are still a sound team. However, one position of need is wide receiver, which is why they are predicted to select Jordyn Tyson from Arizona State with the 14th pick.

Why the Baltimore Ravens Are Predicted to Draft Jordyn Tyson

PFSN’s Jacob Infante predicts that with the 14th overall pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, the Ravens will select Tyson.

“After their trade for Maxx Crosby fell through, the Baltimore Ravens find themselves back with the No. 14 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft,” Infante wrote. “An edge rusher seems unlikely after they signed Trey Hendrickson, which should see them pivot elsewhere with their early pick.

“Jordyn Tyson is a threat with his agility, sinking his hips sharply into his breaks and consistently creating separation underneath. He adjusts his approach with each step, depending on the coverage he sees, showcasing good footwork and strong defensive pattern recognition as a route runner. He’s also an effective YAC receiver with good ball-carrier vision.”

As Infante noted, the team initially planned to trade the 14th overall pick and more to the Las Vegas Raiders in a deal for edge rusher Maxx Crosby. However, that deal fell through due to a reported failed physical, and the picks and player returned to their original teams.

Last season, the Ravens ranked in the bottom half of the league in PFSN’s NFL Offensive Impact Metric, finishing No. 20. They ended the season with an impact score of 72.7 and a letter grade of C-. This was due in part to the absence of quarterback Lamar Jackson, who missed four games because of injury.

Adding Tyson would be a strong pickup for the Ravens, given that one of their glaring weaknesses is the wide receiver position. In PFSN’s NFL Wide Receiver Impact Metric, Zay Flowers ranked as the seventh-best in the league, DeAndre Hopkins (who is no longer on the team) ranked 78th, and Rashod Bateman ranked 107th.

Over three college seasons, Tyson recorded 158 receptions for 2,282 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns. In 2025, he had 61 receptions for 711 receiving yards and eight touchdowns in nine games with the Sun Devils. In PFSN’s CFB Wide Receiver Impact Metric, he ranked as the 23rd-best wide receiver in college with an impact score of 81.2 and a letter grade of B-.

Tyson would make the Ravens’ offense more well-rounded and, hopefully, return them to the dynamic form they’ve had in previous seasons.
