Jordon Hudson has spent more than a year under a microscope because of her relationship with Bill Belichick, and Tony Farmer thinks some of that scrutiny has crossed the line from criticism into something much harsher.
Farmer, host of the “Last Men Standing” podcast, offered a brief but pointed defense of Hudson on Sunday as discussion about her treatment resurfaced online.
Tony Farmer Defends Jordon Hudson amid Media Scrutiny
“It’s awful she’s been through a lot,” Farmer wrote on X in response to a user on X saying that the media has been calling Hudson a (expletive) for a while now.
The initial conversation started after Farmer highlighted that Hudson has continued to take an interest in the whole Dianna Russini-Mike Vrabel saga.
The response fits a position Farmer has taken before. He has repeatedly questioned how sports media has treated Hudson while examining the way other NFL controversies have been covered.
Hudson became a national talking point in April 2025 after she interrupted a question during Belichick’s appearance on “CBS Sunday Morning.” Tony Dokoupil asked Belichick how the couple met, and Hudson responded, “We’re not talking about this.”

The moment went viral almost immediately.
Belichick later defended Hudson and said she was “simply doing her job” by trying to keep the conversation focused on his book. He also accused CBS of presenting a “false narrative” that Hudson was attempting to control the interview.
CBS pushed back, saying there were no preconditions or limitations on the conversation.
That disagreement did little to quiet the attention. Reports soon examined Hudson’s role in Belichick’s business affairs, her involvement around North Carolina football, and the collapse of a planned college version of “Hard Knocks.”

Reuters reported in April 2025 that NFL Films backed away from the UNC project after concerns arose over Hudson’s proposed involvement in the production.
For critics, those reports raised questions about where Hudson’s personal role ended and her professional influence began. For supporters such as Farmer, the steady pileup of stories also turned her into an unusually easy target.
Hudson Has Pushed Back on the Coverage Herself
Hudson has not simply ignored the scrutiny.
In May, she called on CBS and Dokoupil to release the full unedited transcript and footage from the 2025 interview. Belichick made similar complaints, saying the aired version did not reflect the full conversation.
Farmer has also crossed paths with Hudson through his own media criticism. Earlier this year, he said Hudson amplified one of his posts questioning coverage of the Vrabel and Russini controversy.

That does not mean every question about Hudson is unfair. Her role around Belichick has generated real reporting, and the couple has chosen to maintain a public presence together.
Farmer’s point is narrower, as he believes the tone and volume of the attention have become excessive.
Hudson went from being Belichick’s girlfriend to a recurring character in national sports media almost overnight. An interview interruption, social media post, or sideline appearance could suddenly become another round of headlines.
Farmer has apparently seen enough.
There is a difference between covering a public figure and turning that person into permanent content. In Farmer’s view, Hudson has spent plenty of time on the wrong side of that line.
