The Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini scandal has taken the entire NFL world by storm. Right through the draft, it was one of the biggest stories in the sports world, and the fire seems to be far from removed.
However, another party looks to be entering the scene, with former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, stoking the rumor mill. Now one analyst believes her interest in the story might not entirely be coincidental.
Jordon Hudson’s Agenda With Mike Vrabel – Dianna Russini Scandal
Since the pictures from Arizona first became public, the story has caught on like wildfire. From errant interview moments to suspicious tweets, tampering allegations, and even a Spotify playlist, the internet has caught on to the story.
As a result, both parties have faced serious repercussions. For Russini, that meant stepping down from her role at The Athletic. On the other hand, Vrabel has admitted to some “difficult conversations” with his family and the Patriots organization.
Moreover, he began seeking counseling on the third day of the 2026 NFL Draft, stepping away from the team during a pivotal time in the offseason. In this entire exchange, some of the biggest names in sports media have remained eerily quiet.
From ESPN to most other networks, the scandal has seen virtually no coverage. And that has caught the attention of Hudson. Right after Chris Simms tried to discuss the topic on Pro Football Talk, he was let go from the network.
According to Hudson, who has become something of a social media presence herself, the two events were directly connected. Specifically on X, she has been very active in the coverage, or lack thereof, that the story has received.
Tony Farmer of the “Last Man Standing” podcast revealed that she had taken a direct interest in his work. “Jordan Hudson, the girlfriend of Bill Belichick, retweeted my tweet listing 18 different bizarre and peculiar behaviors of the media since the Mike Vrabel-Dianna Russini scandal came out.”

However, Farmer also didn’t think that interest was coincidental. “I have a lot of respect for Jordan Hudson. She’s a very calculated individual, and I say that in a positive way. She’s very intelligent. There’s something behind this retweet.”
Even though he didn’t have a direct answer behind the rationale, Farmer revealed two possible theories on his YouTube channel. “Is Jordan Hudson retweeting my tweet about the media’s handling of this coverage simply just another troll job toward the New England Patriots, toward Robert Kraft?”
Alternatively, his second possibility seemed like it had more meat on the bone. “Or could there be something deeper? Was this actually a shot at the media itself?” Hudson was a figure of constant media attention due to her relationship with Belichick.
On the other hand, the scandal between Russini and Vrabel had gone relatively untouched. As a result, Farmer speculated that it was well within the realm of possibility that Hudson’s vitriol towards the media was based on her perceived unfairness in the two treatments.
It remains to be seen if there were any ulterior motives behind her actions. But even as the media continues to ignore the situation, Hudson is making sure that it is fresh in everyone’s minds.
