The Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles will face off to close out Week 11 on Monday Night Football. This matchup could serve as a preview of this season’s NFC Championship Game, with both teams harboring Super Bowl aspirations.
The game will be played at Lambeau Field, and with November conditions setting in, fans can look forward to classic football weather tonight.
Details on Weather Conditions for Packers vs. Eagles
Currently, the temperature in Green Bay is 35°F, with 81% cloud cover and winds blowing at 13 mph. By kickoff, conditions are expected to get even colder, with the temperature dropping to 28°F, a low of 24°F, and a real-feel temperature around 18°F.
There’s only a slight chance of snow, but even without it, the chilly conditions will create a classic Lambeau Field atmosphere for both the players and the fans in attendance.
The Packers enter this game with a record of 5-2-1, having won three of their last four games. As for the Eagles, they are 6-2 on the season, and they currently have a two-game winning streak.
According to PFSN’s Offense Impact metric, the Packers have the fifth-best offense in the league, while Philadelphia’s offense ranks 12th.
In comparison, based on PFSN’s Defense Impact metric, the Packers’ defense is ranked 12th in the league, while the Eagles’ defense is ranked 14th in the league.
With the cold conditions setting in, both defenses will need to be at their best to contain Josh Jacobs and Saquon Barkley, who are more than capable of taking over the game for their respective teams. Limiting their impact on the ground will be key, as the frigid weather could make passing more difficult and place even greater emphasis on the run game.
According to ESPN, Jordan Love has thrived in freezing-temperature games, throwing five touchdowns with no interceptions while completing 70% of his passes, including playoff games.
Jalen Hurts, on the other hand, hasn’t found the same success in cold-weather conditions. In similar situations, he’s thrown no touchdowns and two interceptions while completing just 56% of his passes.

Based on Hurts’ stats, it looks like the Eagles will have to heavily rely on Barkley, who is more than capable of carrying the team on his back. In four games against the Packers in his career, Barkley has rushed for 348 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 4.6 yards per carry.
