Jaguars Injury Report Week 15: Latest Updates on Parker Washington, Walker Little

The Jaguars take on the Jets at home as the heavy favorites. Here is the injury report for the Jaguars in a game they can't afford to let slip.

The Jacksonville Jaguars stay at home in Week 15 to face the New York Jets, entering the matchup at 9-4 with a chance to secure their first double-digit win season since 2017. At 3-10, the Jets are playing spoiler, but Jacksonville’s focus is squarely on maintaining control of the AFC South. With divisional pressure mounting behind them, this is a game the Jaguars cannot afford to overlook.

Let’s take a look at the latest updates on the Jaguars’ injury report.

QB Trevor Lawrence

Ankle

Trevor Lawrence was dealing with average wear and tear on his ankle at the start of the week, which resulted in a limited practice on Wednesday. He was a full participant the rest of the week and is healthy, with the ankle not expected to be an issue moving forward.

Lawrence has been getting better each and every week in Liam Coen’s system. Expect him to have a fantastic performance at home against a Jets defense that has traded away Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams.

WR Parker Washington

Hip

Parker Washington started out the week limited but was a full participant on Friday. He is officially listed as questionable for the game against the Jets and is expected to play.

If Washington returns, he provides a boost on multiple fronts as one of Lawrence’s favorite targets and as one of the best punt returners in the league. If he misses the game, the Jaguars will rely more heavily on Tim Patrick as the third receiver, with Washington likely returning in Week 16 against the Denver Broncos.

TE Quintin Morris

Ankle

Quintin Morris began the week limited with an ankle issue, but was a full participant later in the week and is healthy. He has made a nice addition to the offense while filling in for injured starters.

Morris has earned himself a role in the regular offense, largely due to his value as an extra blocker. He will likely serve as the Jaguars’ second tight end behind Brenton Strange.

OL Ezra Cleveland

Shoulder

Ezra Cleveland was limited the entire week but is healthy for Sunday’s game. He has been dealing with a shoulder injury that will be something to monitor moving forward.

Jacksonville played it safe by limiting him all week to ensure he is rested enough for Sunday. Cleveland’s presence is crucial for the Jaguars’ offensive line as he is their highest-rated lineman according to PFSN’s Player OLine Impact Rankings.

OL Walker Little

Concussion

Walker Little was a full participant to end the week after missing last week with a concussion. Despite that, he is still listed as questionable for Sunday.

If Little plays, he is expected to resume his starting role at left tackle. If he remains out, Cole Van Lanen will continue starting as the blindside blocker against the Jets.

DE Travon Walker

Knee

Travon Walker was a full participant throughout the week and is expected to play against the Jets. His availability is listed as unspecified, but it should not be an issue.

Fans can expect to see Walker on the field at home as he looks to make an impact opposite Josh Hines-Allen. He will be aiming for a dominant performance against rookie quarterback Brady Cook.

DL B.J. Green II

Knee

B.J. Green was a full participant to end the week and is healthy for Sunday’s matchup. He has been dealing with a knee injury, but has no limitations heading into the game.

Green has brought good energy as a rotational pass rusher and could have an opportunity to record his first career sack against a struggling Jets offense. Overall, the Jaguars’ edge rotation appears to finally be at full strength.

DT Arik Armstead

Hand

Arik Armstead was a full participant throughout the week and is healthy for Sunday. This marks a positive step following dealing with a finger injury that he’s been dealing with over the past few weeks.

Armstead has enjoyed a resurgence this season as Jacksonville’s top interior defensive tackle. He will be tasked with slowing down Breece Hall and the Jets’ run game.

CB Jarrian Jones

Neck

Jarrian Jones was a full participant all week and will play against the Jets. He has been excellent recently when on the field, especially in the slot.

His versatility provides important depth for a Jaguars secondary that needs all the help it can get. Having Jones fully healthy is a major positive for the defense.

S Andrew Wingard

Concussion

Andrew Wingard returned to full participation to end the week after working his way back from a concussion. His game status is unspecified, but he is expected to play on Sunday.

If Wingard returns, Jacksonville will face a decision between Wingard, Eric Murray, and Antonio Johnson at safety. If he does not play, Johnson and Murray will continue as the clear starters against the Jets.
