The Carolina Panthers (4-4) are looking to bounce back from the disastrous Week 8 9-40 loss at home against the Buffalo Bills, but will need to do so against the NFC’s current No. 1 seed, the Green Bay Packers (5-1-1), at Lambeau Field.
Here, we’ll cover the necessary information for tracking the action and what to look out for in the game.
Another New Starting Offensive Line
The official report of the Panthers’ inactive players has been released, and it’s not without a surprise. Team captain and veteran right tackle Taylor Moton (knee) is active, but is not expected to be the starter. Former Green Bay Packer Yosh Nijman is set to fill the position.
Interior offensive lineman Austin Corbett will get the nod at center, in place of the inactive Cade Mays (ankle/knee). Chandler Zavala will be the starting right guard after being activated yesterday from the injured reserve.
Carolina has now had 12 different offensive linemen take snaps on the season, and today’s group will be the seventh different combination of those linemen to start a game.
Rounding out the inactives for Week 9 are EDGE Princely Umanmielen, DT Cam Jackson, WR Hunter Renfrow, TE James Mitchell, and QB Mike White (who will serve as the emergency reserve QB).
How to Watch the Broadcast
Kickoff is at 1 p.m. EST and will be broadcast by FOX Sports. Local Panthers fans in Charlotte can also watch on WJZY. Former Panther TE Greg Olsen and Adam Amin are in the booth for play-by-play, joined by sideline reporter Pam Oliver.
Local fans can tune in to the Panthers radio broadcast via local station 99.7 The Fox. For listeners outside the Charlotte market, you can listen to the radio broadcast live online with Anish Shroff, Jim Szoke, Luke Keuchly, and Sharon Thorsland on the call.
Things to Know About the Matchup
Green Bay has won three consecutive contests against Carolina. However, seven of the last eight games, including each of the last five, have been decided by a single-digit margin of victory.

Under head coach Matt LaFleur, the Packers hold a 41-12 home record. The Panthers have just one road win (against the New York Jets) so far this season.
Bryce Young returns as the starting QB and will look to continue to build upon his rapport with rookie WR Tetairoa McMillan (76.6 PFSN WRi). McMillan has produced 15 explosive plays (receptions of 16+ yards or runs of 12+ yards) this season.
Rico Dowdle will get the start at running back. Chuba Hubbard will stay involved and is only 8 yards from scrimmage away (4,324) from passing DeShaun Foster (4,332) for the ninth-most in franchise history.
