Super Bowl 60 in Santa Clara brings the NFL’s biggest game back to Levi’s Stadium, but the league’s plans stretch well beyond this weekend. Future Super Bowl hosts are already locked in as part of a long-term rotation through high-profile markets and modern venues.
The next two title games will return to stadiums that have already staged recent Super Bowls, keeping the event in cities with proven infrastructure and fan appeal in 2027 and 2028.
Where is the Super Bowl 2027? Location and Dates
Super Bowl 61 will be played at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on February 14, 2027. The game will keep the Super Bowl in the same state for a second straight season, following Super Bowl 60 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.
SoFi Stadium is one of the newest and most expensive facilities in the NFL. The venue opened in 2020 and serves as the shared home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers. It has already hosted one Super Bowl: Super Bowl 56 on February 13, 2022, when the Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 on their home field.
The stadium’s design and location positioned it quickly as a regular candidate for major events. The building’s capacity, enclosed design, and proximity to the Los Angeles metro area meet the league’s hosting requirements for seating, weather, and hotel availability within a short travel radius. That combination helped secure SoFi a second Super Bowl within six years of its first.
With Super Bowl 61, the NFL extends a long history of taking its championship game to the Los Angeles area, from the early Super Bowls at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and the Rose Bowl to the current era at SoFi. The 2027 assignment confirms that the league views Inglewood’s new stadium as a recurring stage for its showcase event.
Where is the Super Bowl 2028? Location and Dates
Super Bowl 62 is scheduled for February 13, 2028, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. That game will mark the second time the NFL’s championship has been played in the building and continues a pattern of returning to newer domed or retractable-roof venues that have already demonstrated they can handle the event.
Mercedes-Benz Stadium opened in 2017, replacing the Georgia Dome as the Atlanta Falcons’ home. It hosted Super Bowl 53 on February 3, 2019, when the New England Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams 13-3. That matchup produced the lowest-scoring Super Bowl in history and was Tom Brady’s final Super Bowl win with the Patriots.
The stadium features a retractable roof and was built to modern specifications for capacity, fan amenities, and downtown access. Its first Super Bowl run included the full package of league events, from media availability and fan festivals to the game itself, helping solidify its status as a reliable Super Bowl site. The 2028 assignment brings the event back less than a decade after that initial hosting.

Looking beyond those two years, the NFL has not formally announced Super Bowl locations past 2028. Current reporting identifies Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium as a leading candidate for Super Bowl 63 in 2029, but that site remains listed as to be announced.
What is confirmed is that after Super Bowl 60 in Santa Clara, the next championships will be played at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood in 2027 and Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta in 2028, continuing the league’s emphasis on returning to recent, high-end venues in major markets.
