‘Time Flies So Fast’ – Ayesha Curry’s Wholesome Photo With Riley Draws Emotional Reaction From Fans

Fans were stunned to see Riley Curry's growth after her mother, Ayesha Curry, shared collection of pictures on social media.

It doesn’t feel that long ago that the Golden State Warriors drafted Stephen Curry with the seventh pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. Sixteen years later, Curry is married to his high school sweetheart, has four kids, has won four NBA titles, and has become one of the greatest basketball players in the world.

Stephen and Ayesha Curry have become one of the league’s most well-known celebrity couples. While Stephen is known for his elite skills and shooting on the court, Ayesha has made a name for herself through a range of successful ventures, including a lifestyle brand, wine label, and an olive oil company.

Ayesha has built a massive following on social media, with more than 7.9 million Instagram followers. This week, the proud mom shared a set of photos featuring their oldest daughter, Riley Curry.

Fans React to Ayesha Curry’s Latest Pictures

Ayesha’s latest Instagram post features a handful of snapshots with Riley. The two spending quality time together over the weekend.

The first picture, a selfie of the pair in an elevator, caught the most attention. Many fans were stunned by how much Riley has grown. One joked, “Time flies so fast Riley. I feel so old.”

“I remember when she was literally a baby whattttt,” another fan commented.

Riley Elizabeth Curry was born in 2012. To some basketball fans, though, she’ll always be the toddler who sat on her dad’s lap during postgame press conferences. “I remember her doing press conference with her dad,” one fan wrote, while another shared a GIF of the two at the Western Conference Finals podium.

Others couldn’t help but joke about how fast Riley is catching up to her mom. “Ayesha girl, your first baby is almost as tall as you now,” one fan said. Another asked, “Is she already taller than you?”

Riley Curry Has Taken Up Volleyball Like Her Grandmother

In one of the photos, Riley is playing in a volleyball game, showing off solid technique as she rises for a jump serve.

Her dad may be one of the most famous basketball players on the planet, but not everyone remembers that Stephen’s mom, Sonya Curry, was a standout volleyball player in college.

Sonya met Dell Curry at Virginia Tech, where both were student-athletes. While Sonya played volleyball, Dell was a guard for the Hokies before enjoying a 16-year career in the NBA with the Utah Jazz, Cleveland Cavaliers, Milwaukee Bucks, Toronto Raptors, and most famously, the Charlotte Hornets.
