According to 247Sports, he ranks No. 105 nationally, No. 25 among point guards, and No. 9 in Texas at his position. These are impressive marks for a player whose stock continues to climb.

Purdue head coach Matt Painter has wasted no time reshaping his roster this offseason. Now, his attention has shifted to the future. According to college basketball insider Jeff Goodman, Painter and his staff have extended an offer to Chase Richardson.
They will not have an easy path to land him. Ole Miss has also offered Richardson and is firmly in the mix. The Rebels are coming off a Sweet 16 run that ended in a loss to Michigan State and are aiming to reload with promising young talent.

Jeff Goodman even expressed surprise at Richardson’s omission from the Top 100 players in the Class of 2027, citing his high IQ, unselfish style, and ability to elevate those around him.
