Detroit looked terrible early this season, and many projected them to go winless. Head coach Dan Campbell has been one of the more emotional (and likable) coaches in the NFL at this point in the season. While he continues to give entertaining interviews, the Lions have also been playing better.
They tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the middle of November. Following that, Detroit lost to the Cleveland Browns and Chicago Bears by a total of 5 points.

The Lions recorded wins over the Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals, who could both make the playoffs. Between those wins, they had a bad 28-point loss to the Denver Broncos.

With this game being somewhat meaningless, it’s difficult to predict. The Lions have the potential to earn the first overall pick, although it’s somewhat unlikely at this point. The Seahawks don’t own a first-round selection, so losing would barely benefit them. That isn’t to say either team will try to lose this game straight-up.
Detroit has been consistently playing in close games with a few impressive wins, while Seattle’s consistently disappointed throughout the year. That should be the case once again this week.

I don’t expect the Lions to win this game outright, but they can keep it close. I also like the under, as both of these teams tend to rely more on their defenses than offenses.
