After a stellar Thanksgiving performance, FOX had no choice but to name Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love the Madden Thanksgiving MVP. Love continues to play lights-out football not just on Thanksgiving, but also against the Detroit Lions. He helped lead the Packers to their first sweep over Detroit since 2020, and his wife, Ronika, made sure to hype up her man on Instagram.
Ronika Celebrates Jordan Love’s MVP Performance
After going 18/30 for 234 yards with four touchdowns, FOX knew the Madden Thanksgiving MVP Trophy was in good hands. Love’s four-touchdown performance will go down in the record books as only Brett Favre has replicated that performance for Green Bay. In his third season as the starter, Love continues to outperform everyone’s expectations and prove exactly why he’s a top quarterback in the league.

Love’s wife, Ronika, commented “duh” with a love emoji on the NFL’s post naming him the MVP. The award could’ve also gone to Micah Parsons, who played his heart out on defense, but two of Love’s passing touchdowns came on fourth down. Not only that, but he sealed the game with a back-foot throw to convert on another fourth down.
Plenty of other QBs have their chance to replicate Love’s performance, but he will likely go up even further in PFSN’s QB Impact Metric. Love came into Thanksgiving with a B+ and was ranked third, only behind Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen and New England Patriots’ Drake Maye. Neither of those two played on Thanksgiving.
Love and Ronika recently tied the knot, having gotten engaged in June 2024. Their engagement occurred four years after they first met. Ronika is a successful volleyball player and was recently part of the NFL’s new Abercrombie & Fitch fashion line.
While not many consider Love in the MVP conversation, his numbers speak for themselves. Even without players like Tucker Kraft, Matthew Golden, and Jayden Reed, Love is still putting together some of the best work of his career. He’s guided the Packers to three straight wins after a pair of three-point losses to the Carolina Panthers and Philadelphia Eagles.
Love, who threw for 25 touchdowns and 11 interceptions last season, has currently thrown 19 touchdowns to just three interceptions. His ratio is still incredible, even though someone like Matthew Stafford surpasses him. Love’s completion percentage, 67%, is on pace for a career high. He’s already been sacked three more times than he was last year, and part of that has contributed to his 164 rushing yards, the second most of his career.
