We break down the contract, salary, and net worth of the Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love in detail for the playoffs.

The Green Bay Packers have enjoyed rare stability at the most important position in football, moving seamlessly from one elite quarterback to the next. With long-term success under center, the team has remained competitive year after year.

That run began when Brett Favre passed the torch to Aaron Rodgers, and now Jordan Love is carrying on that legacy.

Jordan Love’s Contract Details

A first-round selection in 2020, Love spent three seasons backing up Rodgers and developing behind the scenes. He finally stepped into the starting job in 2023 and delivered promising results.

After a slow start, he found his rhythm late in the season and helped engineer a major upset over the Dallas Cowboys in the Divisional Round. That performance cemented Green Bay’s belief that he is their franchise quarterback moving forward.

A solid run at Utah State paved the way for Love to be selected 26th overall. But with Rodgers still at the peak of his prime, he remained on the bench learning the ropes of football behind one of the greatest to ever do it.

Finally, in 2023, he took over as the starter when the four-time MVP began a new chapter of his football career with the New York Jets. Simultaneously, Love exercised his fifth-year option with an incentive-laden deal covering the 2024 season worth up to $22.5 million.

Over the course of the year, he threw for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions, as the Packers won nine games and earned a playoff berth, before making it to the Wild Card Round with a passer rating of 108.6.

On the back of that season alone, Green Bay was satisfied enough to give him a new four-year contract extension worth $220 million. The contract included a signing bonus of $75 million, with nearly two-thirds of the total amount, $160.3 million, guaranteed to Love.

What Is Love’s Salary?

In his first year under a new contract, Love wasn’t nearly as productive, tallying just 3,389 yards while throwing just 25 touchdowns against 11 interceptions. Playing in 15 games, the Packers had a 9-6 record, leading to another playoff appearance.

This time around, though, Love wasn’t as prolific, throwing for 212 yards and three interceptions in their lone postseason game. This season, the team hoped to make a significant step forward and emerge as a true Super Bowl contender.

As a result, they made a myriad of roster moves, including the trade for Micah Parsons, to truly take them over the top. In 2025, Love will earn a base salary of $11,900,000 and a workout bonus of $500,000, while carrying a cap hit of $29,687,143 and a dead cap value of $127,573,193.

According to PFSN’s QB Impact Metric, Love is ranked as the fourth-best quarterback in the league this season and has an impact score of 88.0.

What Is Love’s Net Worth?

According to Forbes, the superstar quarterback has a net worth of close to $83 million. Joining the NFL just before the NIL became part of the collegiate landscape, Love wasn’t able to fully utilize the program.

Since emerging as a star in the league, he has become one of the highest-paid players in NFL history, which has significantly boosted his overall wealth. However, his net worth isn’t built solely on his on-field earnings.

With his popularity and the widespread reach of the sport, he has become a top target for major brands. His endorsement portfolio features several well-known companies, including American Family Insurance, Electronic Arts, Experian, Keurig Dr Pepper, Nike, Old Spice, Sony, and Toyota.
