The New York Jets have already had a whirlwind of a trade deadline. They’ve sent defensive tackle Quinnen Williams to the Dallas Cowboys and cornerback Sauce Garner to the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for draft picks.
Now, there’s another Jets star who is insinuating he wants to be traded as well. Starting running back Breece Hall has signaled he might also want to be part of the Jets’ fire sale.

Will Breece Hall also be traded?
Hall has been very cryptic on X in the hours leading up to the NFL Trade Deadline. He made a post with a GIF reacting to Gardner being traded to the Colts for two first-round picks and Adonai Mitchell.

He made another post shortly after Williams was traded to the Cowboys for defensive tackle Mazi Smith and a first and second-round pick.
Both posts seem to insinuate that Hall would also like to be traded and is waiting his turn.

Now, there’s been confirmation from NFL insider Jordan Schultz that Hall does indeed want to be moved following the two blockbuster deals. Schultz reported just over an hour before the deadline that Hall “wants to be out” from the Jets.
BREAKING: #Jets RB Breece Hall wants to be traded, I’m told.

The Jets have had a dismal season, to put it lightly. The team has struggled mightily, with a 1-7 record, and has also faced numerous general issues. Namely, owner Woody Johnson is calling out starting quarterback Justin Fields after back-to-back poor performances.
The Jets appear to be planning for the team’s future. Loading up on draft picks for first-year head coach Aaron Glenn. The team would undoubtedly get a worthwhile return for the fourth-year running back.
According to PFSN’s RB Impact score, Hall has an impact score of 84.5, which ranks him in the top five running backs in the entire league this season. Hall is also in the final year of his rookie contract and is set to become a free agent after the season. So, New York could take advantage of Hall as a trade asset while they still can.
If a team with a significant need at running back comes along with a great offer, expect Hall to be moved as quickly as his teammates were. If not, expect potentially even more drama to emerge from the Jets organization.
