Jerry Jeudy Opens Up About His Viral Moment With Shedeur Sanders During Week 13

Sunday was a tough outing for the Browns. They faced the Niners at Huntington Bank Field and suffered an 8–26 loss. Once again, the Browns’ offense took most of the blame. With a 53.1 score, Cleveland currently sits at the bottom of PFSN’s Offense Impact list.

Sanders has been in the headlines for weeks. Initially, fans questioned why he wasn’t receiving opportunities. Then some debated how the team should manage the young QB. And now, he’s in the spotlight again due to the sideline argument with Jeudy that cameras caught on Sunday.

Coach Prime’s son didn’t have an impressive performance, completing 16 of 25 passes for 149 yards and one touchdown. Late in the game, he had a heated exchange with Jeudy, which instantly went viral.

Social media users have been calling out Jeudy for his reaction toward Sanders and were waiting to hear his side of the story. Jeudy finally addressed it, saying he talked with Sanders afterward and that they’re good, explaining that moments like this aren’t unusual in football:

“We spoke about it. We’re good. It was about a play. It’s an emotional sport. Things like that happen. It’s football.”

Since Sunday, Jeudy has been facing criticism from fans, and while addressing the situation, he also called out the media for making the moment look bigger.

“Me and Shedeur are good. Stuff like that happens. You all are going to make it bigger than what it is because the media…that’s what you all feed off of, negativity. This is the life we live. I live a real life,” Jeudy said.

The Browns, sitting at the bottom of the AFC North with a 3–9 record, have no chance of making the playoffs according to PFSN’s NFL Playoff Meter. However, they can still give fans something to cheer for before the season ends, and that will require everyone to stay on the same page.

Jeudy says he and the rookie QB are good now, and fans will get a clear picture themselves in Week 14 during their game against the Tennessee Titans by watching how well the two play together.
