On Monday, Lawrence headed to X and shared a cartoon image of a crying Patrick Star, a character from “SpongeBob SquarePants,” with a nine-word message to Etienne.

“@swaggy_t1 (Etienne’s X handle), gonna miss you bro,” Lawrence wrote with a crying-face emoji. “As real as they come.”

Etienne himself reacted on X, reposting a post from SleeperNFL’s account that noted both Lawrence and Etienne have been teammates since 2018. Both played for the Clemson Tigers under head coach Dabo Swinney.

Later Monday afternoon, Lawrence posted pictures of him and Etienne together — one with their young kids in their arms and another from their Clemson days.
