This year marks the NFL’s third annual Black Friday game, airing on Amazon Prime Video, with the Chicago Bears kicking things off against the Philadelphia Eagles.
How to Watch the Bears vs. the Eagles?
To the surprise of many, the Bears are 8-3 and in first place in the NFC North Division in head coach Ben Johnson’s first year. This season, their offense, led by quarterback Caleb Williams, ranks 12th in PFSN’s OFFi, and their defense ranks 25th in PFSN’s DFFi despite leading the league in turnovers with 24.
Not surprisingly, the Eagles are once again one of the best teams in the NFL. The Eagles are currently 8-3 on the season, following a loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Jalen Hurts leads their offense, but it isn’t nearly as effective as it has been in the past.
This season, they rank 16th in PFSN’s OFFi. They’ve been more effective defensively this season, especially after trading for edge rusher Jaelan Phillips. This season, they rank ninth in PFSN’s DFFi.

A Look Ahead For Both Teams
The Bears are well-positioned for a playoff run with their 8-3 record; however, they are being closely tailed by the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions, who faced off on Thanksgiving Thursday. As it currently stands, they own the three seed in the NFC playoff picture.
In their last five games, the Bears are 4-1 with only a loss to the Baltimore Ravens. In their next five games, they’ll play the Packers, the Cleveland Browns, the Packers again, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Lions. The Packers, 49ers, and Lions are formidable foes, and with all three fighting for playoff positioning, it will have a significant impact on the playoff picture.
The Eagles are also well-positioned for a playoff run with their 8-3 record, and unlike the Bears, they have a three-game lead in their division. As it currently stands, they are the two seed in the NFC playoff picture.
In their last five games, they are also 4-1, with their one loss coming against the Cowboys. In their next five, they’ll play the Los Angeles Chargers, Las Vegas Raiders, Washington Commanders, Buffalo Bills, and the Commanders again to finish the season. They should have no trouble maintaining their status at the top of the NFC East.
