The Giants continue to search for ways to lift a passing game that stalled for long stretches last season. In Pro Football Network’s latest mock draft, New York is projected to target a premier wide receiver with its first-round pick, pairing another playmaker with Malik Nabers and quarterback Jaxson Dart.
PFSN Mock Draft Sends Jordyn Tyson to New York
PFSN projects the Giants to select Jordyn Tyson, the Arizona State receiver who scored 14 touchdowns in 2025. The mock describes Tyson as a movement-Z target with rapid releases and advanced feel against zone coverage.
The evaluation highlights Tyson’s catch-point ability and dynamic run-after-catch skills. He is a three-level threat capable of winning short, intermediate, and downfield. The report notes medical questions could factor into his draft process.
Tyson’s profile centers on versatility. PFSN credits him with elite playmaking when isolated and the ability to create separation early in routes. The mock frames the pick as a way to create a two-man effect opposite Nabers, giving Dart a second reliable target in critical situations. When Nabers is doubled, Tyson would have advantageous one-on-one opportunities.
Giants Offense Set for Reset Under Harbaugh
The 2026 season begins a new chapter for New York under head coach John Harbaugh. Harbaugh was hired after leading the Baltimore Ravens for 18 years. Harbaugh takes over a team that closed 2025 at 4-13 with an offense that ranked 24th in PFF’s OFFi metric, and showed more flash than consistent substance throughout the season.
Dart was a bright spot during his rookie year. He finished 18th in PFSN’s QBi metric and was named a finalist for Offensive Rookie of the Year after starting the majority of the season. His progress came despite protection issues and a run game that struggled to provide balance following rookie running back Cam Skattebo’s season-ending leg injury in Week 8.

The team has said Skattebo is expected to make a full recovery. The injuries piled up for New York this year. Nabers, the team’s top playmaker, tore his ACL in Week 4. He is also expected to be ready for Week 1.
Harbaugh hired former Bears coach Matt Nagy as offensive coordinator. His experience with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will hopefully carry over to New York. Nagy, a former head coach and longtime coordinator, is tasked with helping Dart in Year 2.
The addition of a playmaker like Tyson aligns with the Giants’ needs. Pairing another first-round receiver with Nabers would give Dart multiple perimeter options as the organization reshapes the offense in Harbaugh’s vision.
