The New York Giants will be without standout rookies Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo for their Week 11 matchup against the Green Bay Packers. Dart is sidelined after another concussion scare last week, while Skattebo suffered a dislocated ankle and has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.
Despite their injuries, both players still showed up at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, and their appearance quickly went viral, prompting a wave of social media reactions.

Skattebo, who underwent ankle surgery and remains in rehabilitation, arrived on a knee scooter, dressed in blue shorts, a white T-shirt, a black jacket, and a light-colored cap.

Reactions poured in across social media, with one fan joking that the pair looked like they stepped out of another era: “They look like a ’90s boy band. I’m not sure either of them was even born in the ’90s! Also love them!” Another fan chimed in, “They look like high school jocks.” A third added, “6 and 44 best friends forever.”

Fans also highlighted their commitment to the team, praising both players for showing up despite being sidelined. “Not even playing and they came gotta love these dudes,” one comment read.
Dart suffered his second concussion of the season in the Week 10 matchup against the Bears, but is expected to return next week. Despite the Giants’ struggles, the rookie has been a bright spot, ranking 14th in PFSN’s QB Impact Metric with a score of 80.1 and a B- grade.
Skattebo has been just as impressive, rushing for 410 yards and five touchdowns while adding 205 receiving yards and two scores through the air. He is currently ranked 27th on PFSN’s RB Impact metric.
The rookie running back dislocated his ankle in Week 8 against the Eagles, ending his season prematurely. He is expected to return next year, and with Dart also showing strong potential, Giants fans are feeling hopeful about what lies ahead. “The future is so bright,” one fan wrote. “I cannot wait man,” wrote another.

Of course, humor made its way into the replies as well, with comments like “The walking wounded,” and the playful nickname “Cam Scooterboo.”
The Giants are 2–8 on the season and sitting fourth in the AFC East, leaving their playoff hopes extremely slim. But with promising young talents like Dart, Skattebo, and Malik Nabers on the roster, the franchise is primed for a resurgence in the future.
