Georgia State 2023 NFL Draft Scouting Reports
Jamyest Williams, RB
Strengths: Former South Carolina cornerback who transferred to Georgia State and then moved to running back. Patiently waits for blocks to develop, finds the running lanes, and has a burst through the hole.
Quick-footed, easily bounces around the corner and displays the ability to make defenders miss. Plays faster than his 40-time, consistently runs north-south and creates yardage. Multi-cut ball carrier who will pick and choose his spots on the inside.

Weaknesses: Not a stout ball carrier and is easily brought down by a single defender. Combined for just 12 receptions over the past three years.
Overall: Williams did a nice job at Georgia State after moving to running back, but he must learn to catch the ball out of the backfield to have any chance at the next level.
