The dynamic duo of Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua both being unavailable due to injury has certainly shaken up the fantasy rankings at the WR position entering the third week of NFL action.
Here is a closer look at my fantasy football WR rankings for Week 3 of the 2024 NFL season.

The Top WRs To Start in Week 3
Nico Collins, WR, Houston Texans
Can I interest you in a pair of 100-yard performances to start the 2024 NFL season?
Many fantasy managers wondered which Houston Texans WR was going to be the go-to receiver in Houston with the addition of Stefon Diggs this offseason. Well, through the first two games of the year, the answer looks pretty clear.
Nico Collins is the WR2 in fantasy football with 14 receptions for 252 yards and a score through the first two weeks. What is even more encouraging is Collins’ production was incredibly steady across both games.
Week 1: Eight targets, six receptions, 117 yards
Week 2: 10 targets, eight receptions, 135 yards, TD
To further drive home my aggressive ranking is Collins’ Week 2 stat line taking place against a stingy secondary that features Jaylon Johnson, Tyrique Stevenson, and Kyler Gordon.

Collins looks like he is matchup-proof but could have a monster game in Week 3 against the Minnesota Vikings. Brian Flores has blitzed at the second-highest rate in the league at 35.5% over the first two games and will likely aim to heat up C.J. Stroud — which could prove to be a big mistake.
If Collins can continue to his high level of play, he could be in store for a monster outing against Minnesota.
Ja’Marr Chase, WR, Cincinnati Bengals
It is very reasonable for fantasy managers who invested first-round draft capital in Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase to be very concerned about his WR40 production through the first two games of the season.
Chase has caught 10 of his 11 targets for just 97 yards and no scores in 2024 — which is made even worse by the fact the talented WR produced just four receptions for 35 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
While I can understand if there is some level of panic, I’m here to tell you that you should start Chase with confidence against a Washington Commanders secondary that just allowed rookie Malik Nabers to go off for 10 receptions, 127 yards, and a score in Week 2.
Additionally, the one plus-level quarterback the Commanders have played this year (Baker Mayfield) absolutely torched this unit for 289 yards and four scores through the air in the season opener.
If Chase doesn’t produce a monster game against this weak secondary, then it will officially be time to panic. My money is on him delivering the goods in Week 3.
