The 2025 NFL trade deadline is just hours away, and we’re likely going to see several deals get completed before the day is over. The Philadelphia Eagles have been one of the busiest teams in the league leading up to the deadline, having completed three deals in the last week.
First, the Eagles traded for cornerbacks Michael Carter II and Jaire Alexander. The team needed depth in the secondary after injuries to Adoree’ Jackson and Jakorian Bennett. Then, on Monday, the team swung a deal for edge-rusher Jaelan Phillips. After those three deals, do the Eagles still have enough draft capital to make additional deals?

What Picks Do the Eagles Still Have in 2026?
Entering training camp in 2025, the Eagles had 13 draft picks. General manager Howie Roseman made several trades after mid-July, though, including for John Metchie III, Jakorian Bennett, and Tank Bigsby, among others.
Then, Roseman completed the three trades over the last week. That’s a lot to keep track of, so how many picks do the Eagles have left in 2026? As of now, the team has the following picks to work with:
- Round 1
- Round 2
- Round 3 (from Jets)
- Round 3 (comp pick, Milton Williams)
- Round 4
- Round 4 (comp pick, Josh Sweat)
- Round 5
- Round 5 (comp pick, Mekhi Becton)
According to ESPN’s Field Yates, the recently acquired Jaelan Phillips does count toward the compensatory formula, so if he walks in free agency in 2026, Philadelphia could potentially fetch another pick. So, as you can see, the team still has plenty of ammunition to use if the opportunity for another deal materializes.
The Eagles are sitting at 6-2 and comfortably at the top of the NFC East, so the team is obviously set up to add to the roster, not subtract from it. However, star wide receiver A.J. Brown is enduring a career-worst season, and there have been rumors that he could possibly want out.

Trading Brown would undoubtedly add even more draft capital to the team’s chest, but the team likely wouldn’t want to move an elite talent like Brown during the season.
Elsewhere, the team could still be in the market for safety or offensive line depth. The team could also look to move on from either Kelee Ringo or Adoree’ Jackson to clear up a crowded cornerback room after the new additions.
Even if the Eagles are done making moves today, they have to feel good about the remaining assets. The deadline for trades is 4:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday afternoon.
