Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore was doing his best to get open for quarterback Caleb Williams on Sunday against the New York Giants at Soldier Field in Chicago.
Moore, though, is currently out of the game, as the Bears and Giants are tied at 7-7.
What Happened To Bears WR DJ Moore?
Moore was trying to catch a pass from Williams, but it fell incomplete. When he tried to get back up, the wide receiver was not able to get to his feet right away. Moore eventually went into the blue tent on the Bears’ sidelines.
After the initial report, Bears reporter Courtney Cronin of ESPN Radio had an additional update on Moore’s condition: “DJ Moore has been in the medical tent this entire drive. He got hurt at the end of the last series on offense.”
DJ Moore is in the blue medical tent. Took him a second to get back to his feet after that third down incompletion.

Moore, who suffered a shoulder injury, is questionable to return on Sunday against the Giants.
Moore has been targeted three times by Williams, but has not had a reception against the Giants at all. The Giants’ secondary apparently is doing a good job of keeping him in check. On the season, Moore has 30 receptions for 403 yards and one touchdown.
In the PFSN NFL WR Impact metrics, Moore has a 77.4 WR Impact Score and is graded out with a C+. If Moore is not able to return to Sunday’s game against the Giants, then it will add more pressure on Williams to connect with other receivers. In the PFSN NFL Offense Impact metrics, the Bears have a 78.4 Offense Impact Score and grade out to a C+.
Chicago will need to pick up its offense to try and get past the Giants’ talented quarterback Jaxson Dart and the New York offense.
Moore has been an underwhelming fantasy asset this season as he’s mostly taken a backseat to Rome Odunze as Caleb Williams’ top target. He’s still the WR2, though, and a viable WR3 in fantasy.
If Moore has to miss time, that would open the door for rookie Luther Burden III to see the field more. He’s been explosive in limited action.
It doesn’t look like Moore will be out long, but perhaps all Burden needs is an opportunity to prove he needs more playing time. He would be the preferred add over Olamide Zaccheaus in the event of an extended absence for Moore.
