Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been in excellent form this season. As of Week 8, Prescott ranks second in the league in both passing yards and passing touchdowns. Leading an offense that has scored at least 40 points in all three home games, he is performing at an MVP-caliber level.
While he’s putting up big numbers in games, he is also planning for a special event in his personal life.

Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos began dating in 2023 and got engaged in October 2024. At the time, as Prescott proposed to her during a round of golf.

He later wrote on Instagram: “Mine Forever!!!! The Best Friend, Partner, Teammate, Mother, and Now Fiancé I could Ask or Pray for! Thank you God for this Blessing and Family! I Love you @sarahjane 4EVER!”
During Tuesday’s Instagram Q&A, Ramos was asked when they plan to get married. She shared a romantic photo of the two of them, where they are wearing white on a vacation, and captioned it: “Thank you 🥰 This upcoming spring!”
A week ago, she had also shared updates on wedding preparations, sharing images of white lace and fabric swatches on her Instagram story, which could imply that she is working on her wedding dress.
The two have built a loving family over the past few years. Their first daughter, Margaret Jane Rose Prescott, was born on Feb. 22, 2024, and her name honors both her mother and grandmother, Peggy Prescott. Their second daughter, Aurora Rayne, was born on May 22 this year, and her middle name reflects Dak’s full name, Rayne Dakota Prescott.
On Tuesday, Ramos also addressed questions about expanding their family. Regarding the possibility of having a son, she said:
“For those asking if Dak wants a boy, he loves being a girl dad, and I am the one that would love to have a boy. But healthy children and God’s provisions is all we pray for.”
Prescott and Ramos began dating in 2023 at a holiday weekend party in Miami. Ramos said they “danced the night away” after meeting, and their relationship developed from there.
