Sound the alarms, doomsday has arrived in Dallas. It’s panic time for Cowboys fans. The dreaded day has come, as Micah Parsons has had enough. Parsons broke his silence on his contract negotiations and is ready to move on to a new franchise. This situation has dragged on, and the four-time Pro Bowler has hit his breaking point.
Micah Parsons Wants to Leave the Cowboys
Parsons took to his social media account to express his frustration with the organization and how they have handled his negotiation process, from declining to negotiate a year early when his value wasn’t as high to publicly taking shots at his availability last season or engaging in closed-door negotiations without his agent. Enough is enough for Parsons, and he wants no part of the Cowboys organization.
“Unfortunately, I no longer want to be here,” Parsons said on X in a long note expressing his frustrations.

Parsons wanted it to work out in Dallas. He expressed his love for wearing the Cowboys uniform and his pride in suiting up every week, but the mistreatment brought him over the edge. It takes a toll when he isn’t being compensated for his outstanding production, and the organization isn’t giving him a fair negotiation.
Parsons denied any negotiations or conversations between the organization and his agent. Beyond the negotiations, owner Jerry Jones’s pursuit of his availability last season did not go over well with Parsons.
Parsons only missed four games last season, the only games missed of his career, while Jones used that as an excuse for the holdup in the new deal. Parsons addressed Jones’ dig in his trade request statement.
“I no longer want shots taken at me for getting injured while laying it on the line for the organization, our fans, and my teammates,” said Parsons.
To no one’s surprise, Parsons was ticked off by Jones’ comments. Parsons has always been on the field, giving everything he had for the star on that helmet, the fans, and his teammates. Even when the team struggled, Parsons produced at the top level with only the best of the best able to match him.
Parsons has run out of justifications for staying with the franchise, leading to his request to be traded. While a trade might not be imminent, the relationship between Parsons and the Cowboys is broken.
Cowboys Fans React to Parsons’ Request
It’s not looking too hot for Cowboys fans, and they are letting it be known on social media. Jones is public enemy No. 1 in Dallas, and fans are dragging him.
“F**k Jerry Jones, this is sick. Micah deserves better this fu**ing hurts,” one fan wrote.

Jones is making plenty of Dallas fans sick today. As another fan said, “Jerry Jones actually makes me sick….”
Another fan chimed in, “IM FU**ING CRYING I HATE YOU JERRY JONES!!!!!!!”
Fans are lining up to attack Jones, with another asserting, “Jerry Jones, you WILL pay.”

Disgusted by Jones’ actions, fans are siding with Parsons. It will sting for Cowboys fans, but a reality of a future without Parsons stares them in the face.
“I don’t blame him for wanting to leave. Jerry Jones will always be the problem with this team,” said one user defending Parsons.

Jones has been constantly criticized for his contract negotiation strategies in the past, but now that they have led to Parsons requesting a trade, the heat will be even stronger.
“Draft good players. Keep them happy. Pay them early before the market sets the price even higher. This isn’t that hard. But Jerry Jones knows how to make it hard on himself,” a fan wrote.

Parsons has always been a stud and was drafted as a first-rounder. He was even willing to be paid before the market set his value by taking an extension a year early. Jones declined and is stuck lying in the bed he made, much to the dismay of fans. Fans are not taking it lightly and are calling for jobs.
“smh get rid of Jerry Jones fr man,” said a fan ready to see Jones leave the franchise.

Another fan ranked him the worst owner in all professional sports, saying, “Jerry Jones is the worst GM/Owner in sports history and he’s gonna live to 120.”
Jones is going to have to stay off social media, as yet another fan echoes the sentiment, “Micah has requested a trade. Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones are the worst.”
It will be tough for Jones to wiggle his way out of this one, as his reputation is in the gutter right now. With Cowboys fans demanding a return to the top of the NFL, upsetting your star edge rusher to force him to want out is exactly what fans did not want to see on a Friday afternoon.
