Conservatives Call for Boycott of Super Bowl 60 Over Bad Bunny’s Halftime Show: ‘ENOUGH IS ENOUGH’

Conservatives call for a boycott of the Super Bowl after the NFL's controversial decision to feature Bad Bunny for the Halftime Show.

Bad Bunny will be the main performer for the Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show. Some are surely excited about the selection, while others are clearly outraged. He has been known to make his strong political stances public, which has led some conservatives to call for an outright boycott of the NFL’s decision to pick him.

What’s the Outrage Surrounding Bad Bunny Getting Picked for Super Bowl Halftime Show?

The Super Bowl is the largest sporting event of the year in terms of total viewership. It also consistently ranks among the most-watched television programs overall each year, not just in sports.

The big game attracts a wide audience that extends far beyond football fans, and for some, the Halftime Show is what they really look forward to. Some of the biggest names in music have headlined the event across its history, and this year, Bad Bunny gets the honors.

The general issue that some have had with this selection is that he has often been outspoken about his political views. Conservatives have recently made their opposition to the NFL’s choice for Super Bowl 60 clear, with several calling for a boycott.

“Why do NFL owners keep Roger Goodell around when he keeps pushing this woke agenda? Bad Bunny headlining the Super Bowl halftime? Pathetic! Not a single real fan wants this anti-American spectacle. Boycott and fire Goodell,” exclaimed Sherri Unfiltered.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is being targeted for the decision to pick this year’s performer. This calls for the owners who appointed him to his position to essentially fire him from his role.

“If the NFL doesn’t immediately switch the halftime show from whoever Bad Bunny is, they will see the largest viewership drop in Super Bowl history. The boycott will be bigger than the game itself,” insisted Jason Nelson.

Some believe that the Halftime Show will prompt many to choose not to watch the Super Bowl this year. This has some suggesting that removing him from the performance is the only solution to avoid the boycott.

“Nice job NFL. You had the last unifying event in America, and now you have turned even the damn Super Bowl into a decisive force. Bad Bunny should not be doing the halftime show at the Super Bowl. There will rightly be a legitimate boycott of that performance,” stated John Ziegler.

The controversial pick for the show has some believing that the NFL is creating more of a divide, rather than promoting unity. They have suggested that Goodell and the league are making a polarizing statement.

“Patriots, conservatives, Republicans, and everyday Americans who love this country — ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Bad Bunny has disrespected our nation time and again: turning the Super Bowl stage into a platform for divisive politics, attacking President Trump, disrespecting half the country at the Grammys, and pushing agendas that mock traditional values …  The NFL chose division over unity — the Super Bowl is supposed to bring America together, not tear it apart with woke nonsense and anti-American vibes,” said Reverend Jordan Wells.

While the Halftime Show controversy has stolen headlines leading up to the Super Bowl, many will just be interested in the game itself between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots.

Some will be focused on Bad Bunny, but others will be tuning in to see Sam Darnold and Drake Maye compete. Both of them rank inside the top 13 overall in the PFSN QB Impact Rankings and have beaten the odds on their incredible journeys to make their Super Bowl debuts this year.
