Chiefs Superstar Travis Kelce Makes History vs. Broncos in Week 11

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has long been a favorite target of starting quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Kelce’s ability to get open downfield and find his way into the end zone has endeared him to Chiefs fans and players for a long, long time.

On Sunday against the Denver Broncos, Kelce achieved yet another record in what might be part of his future Pro Football Hall of Fame story.

What Record Did Chiefs TE Travis Kelce Set?

With Kansas City down 13-10 in the fourth quarter on the road in Denver, Mahomes connected with Kelce downfield, and the tight end did the rest.

Kelce fought off a couple of Broncos defenders and made his way into the end zone. With that touchdown catch, Kelce became the all-time touchdown leader in Chiefs history. He now has 84 career touchdowns to his credit, bumping Priest Holmes out of the No. 1 spot.

As Kelce landed in the end zone, he got up and raised his hands into the air. Soon, Kelce’s Chiefs teammates offered their congratulations on their veteran player’s record-setting effort. According to the PFSN NFL TE Impact metrics, Kelce has an NFL TE Impact Score of 84.5 and grades out at a B.

While the grades might have him as a B, Chiefs fans will always give Kelce an A+. He’s been an integral part not only connecting with Mahomes but in leading Kansas City to Super Bowl championships.

According to the PFSN NFL Offense Impact metrics, the Chiefs have an NFL Offense Impact Score of 87.9 and grade out to a B+. The Chiefs have been in a battle with the Broncos all game long on Sunday and they are tied late in the fourth quarter.

Even Kelce’s podcast, “New Heights,” offered its congratulations through a special post on X. Travis joins his brother, former NFL player Jason Kelce, on the weekly podcast, where they discuss pro football and other topics.

Of course, Kelce has also been in the headlines with his engagement to pop superstar Taylor Swift. But on Sunday in Denver, the future Hall of Famer was the star of the show.
