Former Texas A&M wideout KC Concepcion was one of the most explosive offensive players in the country last season, forming an almost telepathic connection with quarterback Marcel Reed. The duo earned the Aggies a PFSN College Offense Impact score of 82.2, good for No. 6 in the SEC.
Concepcion, who transferred to Texas A&M from the N.C. State Wolfpack has been mocked as a possible first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft and is in the mix to be among the first wideouts off the board on draft night.
Reporter Alleviates KC Concepcion Injury Speculation
On Monday, NFL Network reporter Mike Garafolo reported on X that despite undergoing a routine knee scope last week, Concepcion would still attend the rookie camp.
“Texas A&M WR KC Concepcion underwent a knee scope described as routine and preventative, sources say. Cowboys team physician Daniel Cooper performed the scope last week. Concepcion, projected by many as a first-round pick, is expected to be 100 percent for rookie camp,” Garafolo tweeted.
Concepcion was one of the best performers at the NFL Draft Combine in Indianapolis last month, leading to a dramatic rise in his draft stock.

Analyst Suggests Intriguing Concepcion Draft Trade
In his latest mock draft, PFSN analyst Alec Elijah suggested an intriguing trade involving the Indianapolis Colts that would send Concepcion to the New York Jets with the No. 16 pick on draft night.
“After a midseason trade sent Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts, the New York Jets now hold two first-round picks, giving them flexibility to add another offensive weapon. One intriguing option would be KC Concepcion from the Texas A&M Aggies. Concepcion brings a dynamic and versatile skill set that can create problems for opposing defenses.”

“Pairing Concepcion with Garrett Wilson could give the Jets a dangerous one-two punch at receiver, adding speed, creativity, and big-play potential to the offense. With experience as a former running back, he offers more than just traditional receiving ability, providing the kind of versatility that allows offenses to move him around the formation.”
Last season, Concepcion registered 919 receiving yards on 61 receptions, resulting in 9 touchdowns to earn an impressive PFSN College Wide Receivers Impact score of 81.5. In addition, the multi-talented prospect tallied 456 yards on 26 punt returns.
