Eleven weeks into the 2025 NFL season, the playoff picture is starting to take shape in both conferences. However, as is typical for any year in the league, the bracket is full of some truly shocking results across the board. Teams like the Indianapolis Colts and the Chicago Bears have surprised everyone by their success so far.
On the other hand, the disappointment of the Detroit Lions, the Baltimore Ravens, and the Kansas City Chiefs is hard to digest. It has led to a truly unpredictable atmosphere as the playoffs draw closer, and New York Giants rookie phenom Cam Skattebo is ready to incite further chaos.
Cam Skattebo Makes Super Bowl Pick
A fourth-round pick for the Giants in this year’s draft, Skattebo took the entirety of New York by storm with his playstyle. A power runner with undeniable charisma, his rabid dog fearlessness immediately enamored him to the fan base.
It also led to some undeniable success on the field, where he tallied 410 rushing yards in his eight games as a starter for the team, ranking 30th on PFSN’s RB Impact, before a dislocated ankle took him out for the season in their game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Since his injury, though, Skattebo has made full use of his budding popularity, becoming a mainstream name throughout the country. Appearances on WWE shows, podcasts, and streams are quickly making him an even bigger star than before.
However, his focus has also been centered on the NFL, where he made a rather surprising choice for his pick to win the Super Bowl. So far this season, a few teams have truly stood out as the cream of the crop.
The Eagles, the New England Patriots, the Los Angeles Rams, the Colts, and the Denver Broncos are the only teams with just two losses on the season, as they’ve built a stranglehold on the top of their respective divisions.
While each team comes with certain caveats, the Rams appear to be the cleanest team in that regard, boasting a top-five offense and defense. Still, Skattebo isn’t willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Claiming that six or seven teams, while name-dropping the Eagles, Rams, and Broncos, have a real chance, he went with Denver as his team of choice. “Yeah, they just find a way to win games, bro. It’s hard.”

Coincidentally, PFSN’s Playoff Predictor also has the same three teams with the best chances of winning the Super Bowl. However, the Rams at 12.10% and the Eagles at 11.80% have slightly better odds than Skattebo’s pick (11.50%).
It isn’t as though the Denver choice is without merit. Their defense has been the best in the league, per PFSN’s Defense Impact, for virtually the entire season. They have a stronghold on the brutal AFC West and are coming off a victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Moreover, they’ve become among the most clutch teams in the entire league, registering come-from-behind victories over the Chiefs, Eagles, and even Skattebo’s Giants. That game may factor into the running back’s choices.
After going scoreless through the first three quarters, they were able to come back from down 19-0 to win the game 33-32 outright to continue a winning streak that has now extended to eight games, the longest in the league.
It will be interesting to see how things shape out over the second half of the year in the NFL. However, the Broncos are legitimate, and they’re starting to earn the respect they deserve from players within the league as well.
