The NFL is a widely popular sport across the country for a variety of reasons.

What Will the Denver Broncos Wear on Monday Night Football and Why Is It Important?

The Denver Broncos (1-2) will play into that fascination as they debut a new uniform combination during Monday Night Football against the Cincinnati Bengals (2-1).

Denver will wear Midnight Navy alternate jerseys with navy pants, navy socks, and their navy metallic satin helmets.

According to the team’s website, the Broncos are allowed to wear their alternate or throwback uniforms a total of four times in 2025.

Monday’s matchup against the Bengals will be the Broncos’ first game in an alternate uniform this season.

The uniforms could also be viewed as reminiscent of Auburn’s color scheme. Former Auburn quarterback Bo Nix is now the Broncos’ starting QB.

Other uniforms that have made headlines across the league include the New England Patriots wearing their red throwback set against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3.

Denver previously wore an all-white combination in each of its three preseason games. Most recently, the Broncos wore Summit White jerseys with Summit White pants, socks, and navy metallic satin helmets against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Against the Broncos, Cincinnati has a chance to improve to 3-1 for the first time since 2021. But the Bengals will have to do so without quarterback Joe Burrow, who underwent surgery after sustaining a toe injury.

Backup signal caller Jake Browning has taken over starting duties. He served as Cincinnati’s backup in 2024 after spending the 2021 and 2022 campaigns on the practice squad.

Burrow had a 69.7 score in PFSN’s QB Impact Score; Cincinnati also carries an overall grade of an F in PFSN’s Offense Impact metric, along with the Cleveland Browns and Tennessee Titans.

The Broncos hold a 22-12 record against the Bengals all-time.

Kickoff between Denver, in its new uniform combination, and Cincinnati is set for 8:15 p.m. EDT at Empower Field at Mile High. The Broncos will then turn their attention to traveling to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles on Oct. 5.
