‘He’s Our Bell Cow’ — Browns GM Clarifies Jerry Jeudy’s Status After Drafting KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston

In the first two rounds of the 2026 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns drafted their wide receivers of the future: KC Concepion and Denzel Boston.

Now, they line up alongside Jerry Jeudy, who won’t be impacted by the selections, according to general manager Andrew Berry.

Jerry Jeudy Won’t Be Impacted By New Receiver Additions

During the 2025 season, Concepcion finished with 61 catches for 919 receiving yards and nine touchdowns for the Texas A&M Aggies. Additionally, he finished the year with an 81.5 PFSN CFB WR Impact Score with a letter grade of B-, ranking 19th overall.

As for Boston, he caught 62 receptions for 881 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns during the 2025 season with the Washington Huskies. In PFSN’s CFB WRi, he ranked 50th with an impact score of 79.5 and a letter grade of C+.

Now, they’ll join the Browns, who had the worst offense in the league last season. In PFSN’s NFL Offensive Impact Metric, they finished the season with an impact score of 52.0 and a letter grade of F. Most of their woes resulted from their quarterback carousel.

One receiver who suffered last season was Jeudy, who ranked 104th in PFSN’s NFL Wide Receiver Impact Metric. He only recorded 50 receptions for 602 receiving yards and two touchdowns, resulting in an impact score of 63.1 and a letter grade of D. His production took a big hit, considering he recorded 90 receptions for 1229 receiving yards and four touchdowns in 2024.

However, Berry says that Jeudy’s production won’t take a hit with the new receivers. ESPN Browns reporter Daniel Oyefusi reported the following:

“Last night, Browns GM Andrew Berry said the drafting of KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston have ‘zero impact’ on WR Jerry Jeudy. ‘He’s our bell cow. I think with receiver rooms you can have, maybe a ball dominant player or you can essentially build a basketball team with different skill sets. We prefer the second approach. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll take Calvin Johnson if he’s out there. But we feel like we have a nice, well-rounded room with speed, RAC, contested catch ability, separation. So, we’re really pleased with the youth and talent in that group.’”

Even though Berry says that, the clear focus is on developing the new young wide receivers. Now, they just need a quarterback to step up and be good enough to get them their receptions.
