Angel Reese stamped her authority on the court and online on Sunday, erupting for a season‑high 24 points and hauling in 16 rebounds to propel the Chicago Sky to a 92‑85 road victory over the Los Angeles Sparks. She also became the first WNBA player to grab over 15 rebounds in four consecutive games, as per ESPN.
Fresh off a historic 17‑point, 18‑rebound performance in a hard‑fought 83–78 loss to the Golden State Valkyries on June 27, Reese cemented her status as one of the WNBA’s fiercest competitors and then took to her Instagram Story to celebrate her latest accolade.
Reese Declares “DUBS IN THE CHATTTT” After Sky’s Gritty 92–85 Victory Over Sparks
Reese’s dominance wasn’t limited to the box score. In her June 29 post‑game Instagram Story, she reposted the Sky’s official win graphic and overlaid it with “DUBS IN THE CHATTTT,” sending fans into a frenzy across platforms. She shared a series of posts from the Chicago Sky and ESPNW’s official handles, hailing her as “Player of the Game” on her Story.

During Sunday’s Sky-Sparks clash, Reese set the tone early, leading her team with 10-of-19 field goal shooting. In the first quarter, the Sky were held to just 17 points, while the Sparks scored 18. In the second quarter, the Sky overhauled the deficit by outscoring the Sparks, 23-16.
With the outcome still hanging in the balance in the second half, the Sparks dug deep to wrest control. Chicago, however, was not relinquishing the lead anytime soon.
The Sky exploded for 31 fourth‑quarter points. Ariel Atkins finished with 20 points with 2-of-5 from the 3-point line, and Rachel Banham added 13 points. Kia Nurse scored 14 points and two boards off the bench to confirm Sky’s win. The Sky improved to 5-11 on the year, gaining confidence as they prepare to face the Minnesota Lynx on July 6 at Target Center.
Kelsey Plum scored 22 points for the Sparks, while Dearica Hamby finished the game with a 20-point and 10-rebound double‑double.
Reese’s Off-Court Heroics Shines Equally Bright As Her On-Court Showdown
Her on‑court heroics were only part of the story. Off the floor, Reese has been busy launching her own “MeBounds” apparel line. Reese formally unveiled her “MeBounds” merchandise in mid-June. The brand features T‑shirts, sweatshirts and accessories and a portion of its proceeds will go for cyberbullying prevention initiatives.
Simultaneously, she joined forces with Cash App and Project Backboard to breathe new life into Oakwood Beach’s courts, providing state‑of‑the‑art hoops for local youth.

Before all these, she won the BET’s 2025 “Sportswoman of the Year” award. According to Bleacher Report, Reese bested A’ja Wilson, Simone Biles, Dawn Staley, Flau’jae Johnson, Claressa Shields, and Coco Gauff, among others to nab her third straight “Sportswoman of the Year” trophy.
Coming back to the present, after the Sky face the Lynx on July 6 and the Washington Mystics on July 8, they will return home on July 9 to host the Dallas Wings. Meanwhile, Reese’s blend of on‑court ferocity and off‑court entrepreneurship continues to redefine what it means to be a modern WNBA star.
