Who Are the Best Players To Draft in Fantasy?
Patrick Mahomes
In Superflex leagues, quarterbacks fly off the board early. In most previous years, Patrick Mahomes was the first or second QB off the board. Now, you can get him as low as fifth. Yes, please.
Before last season, Mahomes had never finished lower than the overall QB6 and never averaged fewer than 20.7 fantasy points per game (ppg). Now, after one down season that saw him average 18.4 ppg and finish as the QB10, Mahomes is suddenly a notch below the elites.
Mahomes is about to remind everyone why he’s the best quarterback in NFL history.

The Kansas City Chiefs added two new wide receivers in Hollywood Brown and Xavier Worthy. They still have Travis Kelce and Rashee Rice. There may not be a Tyreek Hill, but this is the most complete group of pass-catchers Mahomes has ever had.
Mahomes is poised for a massive rebound and is very likely going to look like a steal as the consensus QB5.
Caleb Williams
The notion of taking quarterbacks so early that you’re forced to pass on high-end wide receivers and running backs is hard enough to grapple with. Taking a rookie QB over those guys is even more challenging. Such is the nature of Superflex leagues.
There’s a very real chance Chicago Bears QB Caleb Williams is an immediate QB1 in fantasy as a rookie, though.

It’s fair to say no rookie quarterback has ever walked into a situation as good as his, throwing to the likes of DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze, Cole Kmet, and D’Andre Swift.
The Bears have never had a 4,000-yard passer in their team’s existence. Williams has the potential to do it this year while also throwing for 30+ touchdowns. Do not be afraid to push the button on the rookie as your QB2 early in Superflex fantasy drafts.
