Fantasy Football Updated TE Dynasty Rankings Week 18: Where Do Sam LaPorta, David Njoku, and Travis Kelce Land?

For several dynasty fantasy managers, it's time to look ahead to the offseason. Who are the top TEs in the rankings in this unique format?

The fantasy football rankings at the tight end position for the majority of the last five years have been Travis Kelce at the top spot… and everyone else fighting for second. However, with the Kansas City Chiefs TE having a down year by his own lofty standards, there are a handful of talented young players vying for the top spot.

With that in mind, here are my updated dynasty fantasy football TE rankings to help guide you as we head into Week 18 of the 2023 NFL season.

Dynasty TE Risers After Week 17

David Njoku, Cleveland Browns

It feels like David Njoku has been in the NFL for a decade, but fantasy managers should definitely take note that he’s still just 27 years old and could have his best football ahead of him if this offense continues to produce as they have over the 2023 season.

Speaking of 2023, Njoku has set career highs across the board this year with 81 receptions for 882 yards and six scores with one game remaining to play.

It may have been easy to write off the veteran TE after failing to produce a top-20 fantasy finish from 2019 to 2021, but Njoku has now strung together back-to-back top-10 finishes over his last two years.

Njoku’s fantasy arrow is pointing up heading into 2024.

Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers

It’s a very difficult task to decipher exactly what to think about the TE position for the Green Bay Packers heading into 2024.

One on hand, Luke Musgrave appeared well on his way to a solid rookie season after dominating the overwhelming majority of work from the position in this offense through the first 11 weeks of the year.

However, his rookie TE counterpart — Tucker Kraft — has also made a very compelling case for the leading role at the position with his 18 receptions for 229 yards over the last four games.

Both players are tough to value, but Kraft’s production certainly makes him an intriguing TE stash heading into the 2024 offseason.
