For all of the attention that has gone to Shedeur Sanders and how he fares with the Cleveland Browns, the 2025 NFL Draft class had another member of the Sanders family as well.
Shilo Sanders, who played safety at the collegiate level, also declared for the draft. But with his football aspirations not working out, he shifted to a career in music. Before releasing his new album, he reminisced about his short time in the NFL.
Shilo Sanders Hasn’t Learned From NFL Exit
An undrafted free agent in 2025, he was picked up by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a potential depth piece for their defense. However, he didn’t make it past the preseason, despite some solid performances on the board.
During a preseason clash against the Buffalo Bills, Sanders got into a heated confrontation with tight end Zach Davidson. Eventually, their scuffle turned physical, with the son of Deion Sanders taking a direct swing at the Bills star.
The Buccaneers weren’t willing to tolerate such behavior, and he was waived before the final roster cuts. Since then, Sanders hasn’t attempted to mount a comeback, instead shifting his focus to music.
But he is still keeping reminders of his time in the NFL. His new album, titled “World of Headache,” has direct references to the infamous moment. The first song is called “Go Out Swinging,” while the cover art is a doctored image of Sanders punching a Bills tight end.

However, in place of Davidson, he’s replaced the player on the receiving end with Dalton Kincaid. As a result, the reveal hasn’t gone over well with the football crowd, with some pointing to the change as an obvious problem.
“It wasn’t even against Dalton K, he clout chasing,” one fan claimed, while others were quick to point to the discrepancy as well.
Another fan pointed out, “It wasn’t even Kincaid, it was Bills legend Zach Davidson.”

Mikey Kinahan was far more succinct in his breakdown, writing, “Kid’s a loser,” while another fan also accused Sanders of trying to chase clout: “He didn’t even fight Kincade. He clout chasing a fight.”

Some fans were perplexed by his choice, calling out Sanders directly. “That’s humiliatingly dumb, man.”

One fan had a legitimate question for the youngster, wondering, “He’s allowed to put those uniforms on his cover, won’t those teams be pissed?”
Some, though, were exhausted by the constant “shenanigans” from the Sanders brothers, claiming, “He’ll do everything, apart from playing good football. I loved the Sanders, but the shenanigans are tiring. Play some good damn football.”

It remains to be seen whether the very vocal outcry against his album, or specific details from it, will make Sanders change his tracks.
But given his history of trying to go against the grain, it seems unlikely that Sanders will change his take-on-all-comers approach over this.
