Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever won a tightly fought Sunday night match against Angel Reese’s Atlanta Dream. The overtime thriller highlighted Fever’s team play, with four starters scoring at least 18 points each.
Entering the clash on the back of three consecutive wins, Indiana stood firm against Dream, which started the day just half a game behind the Fever in the race for fourth place.
And after the game, Fever head coach Stephanie White’s post-match team talk sparked an optimistic moment for a franchise finding its rhythm at the right moment.

Clark’s Fever pulled off a dramatic 95-91 overtime victory against the Dream on Sunday, overcoming a strong challenge from Reese and Co. after falling behind early in the game.
Atlanta took control before halftime and carried a 72-64 advantage into the fourth quarter. Fever needed a strong defensive effort to stay alive and eventually forced the game into overtime.
Clark stepped up for her team, finishing the night with 26 points and 9 assists.
One highlight moment for the Fever came after the final buzzer. Addressing her players in the locker room, White was upbeat as she turned her attention toward Clark. “CC, what the [expletive]!”
Clark was seen smiling as the entire team clapped together and waved in a row. White later added, “That defense was outstanding, outstanding. I mean, it’s just a total team effort.”

Kelsey Mitchell’s 20-point performance extended her streak to 19 consecutive games with 20 or more points, while Clark recorded her 23rd career game with at least 25 points and 5 assists.
Makayla Timpson scored Indiana’s first three field goals of overtime while finishing with a career-high 20 points. Aliyah Boston added 18 points and 14 rebounds.
Sunday marked the beginning of Indiana’s final multi-game road trip. The Fever (23-12) will next travel to Toronto, Dallas, New York, and Chicago, with five of their remaining nine games coming against teams currently occupying playoff positions.
