Both teams came into Sunday’s game on a hot streak, making this a huge matchup for playoff spots. The Fever had won three games in a row, while the Dream were right behind them in the standings, so both teams really wanted this win.

The game was close right from the opening tip. It was tied at 21 after the first quarter, and Atlanta managed to build an eight-point lead going into the fourth.

But Indiana’s defense stepped up big time when it mattered most and held the Dream to just 9 points in the fourth quarter to force overtime.

In the extra period, Makayla Timpson showed up big with three straight baskets to finish with 20 points. Clark led the way with 26 points and 9 assists as Indiana pulled off a 95-91 win to keep their winning streak going.
