Stefanos Tsitsipas and His Girlfriend Kristen Thoms Step Out in Monaco

Tsitsipas’ difficult 2026 season hit another snag when he suffered a second-round loss to Novak Djokovic at the Wimbledon Championships. Following his early exit, the Greek chose to compete at the ATP 250 event in Gstaad, returning to his preferred clay courts.

The 27-year-old displayed his fighting spirit throughout his campaign, surviving three consecutive three-set battles to book his spot in the final. In the closely contested title clash, Tsitsipas secured a 6-4, 6-7(3), 6-3 victory over Raphaël Collignon to clinch his 13th tour-level trophy after a 16-month drought.

Tsitsipas’ girlfriend Kristen Thoms, who is a former American collegiate tennis player, cheered him on during the final. She also joined in during the Greek’s trophy photoshoot and expressed her immense pride after his victory.

Following his win, Tsitsipas said he planned to take a short break before shifting his focus to the North American hardcourt swing. He has since returned home to Monaco alongside Thoms, with the couple stepping out in matching all-black ensembles for an evening excursion.

The pair drove off in style in an emerald green Aston Martin Valhalla, an ultra-exclusive hybrid supercar limited to just 999 units worldwide, with a base price of $1,051,700.

Tsitsipas has previously opened up about his efforts to make memories with Thoms amid his demanding travel schedule as a professional tennis player.

“She’s been a great support so far in my tennis journey, in my matches. I have had her last week too. We’re trying to obviously be with each other as much as we can because this tour is very demanding and it requires a lot of travel. So I really want to spend as much time as possible building memories on court and off court,” he told BB Tennis at the Madrid Open.

The 27-year-old also expressed gratitude for Thoms’ unwavering support, revealing that simply catching a glimpse of her face helped him navigate tense moments during matches.

“She’s super cute. I love seeing her face in difficult moments. She’s the person I’m always seeking out for in difficult match moments. She’s been there for me for a very long time. I feel like she knows about tennis, and that’s what makes her special to be on the court. She’s played tennis herself, knows the psychology of tennis,” he added.

Stefanos Tsitsipas will hope to have Kristen Thoms cheering him on once more when he returns to action at the Mubadala DC Open, which is set to begin on July 27.
