Jeremiyah Love is making bold Hall of Fame promises to NFL teams, setting massive expectations for his 2026 rookie season.

Jeremiyah Love is considered by most around the league to be the top running back prospect in the 2026 NFL Draft class. He is currently projected to be picked in the first round this year, but the Notre Dame Fighting Irish star has even bigger goals for his career. He recently outlined what he has been telling teams that have expressed interest in picking him.

Jeremiyah Love’s Bold NFL Career Aspirations Ahead of the 2026 Draft

Love is expected to be selected in the first round of the draft this year and has a legitimate shot at being a top-10 pick. If he lives up to the lofty goals that he has set for himself, he will be well worth the investment. He recently explained what he has told the teams he spoke with about them potentially picking him.

“I tell them that I want to be one of the best of all time. I want to be a Hall of Famer. I want to be a Pro Bowler my very first year. I want to win Offensive Rookie of the Year. I tell them all of these goals that I have … It’s a lot of big talk, but I have a process and I have a plan for how I’m going to get there,” said Love.

Taking a running back with a premium pick in any draft has become rare in recent years, but truly special talents are exceptions to this philosophy. Bijan Robinson and Ashton Jeanty are the most recent examples of top-10 picks from the position, and apparently Love believes he’s worthy of being the next one.

His own expectations for his first season include being selected for the Pro Bowl and also being named the Offensive Rookie of the Year. He would appear to have the talent to achieve these goals if he lands in the right situation where he can potentially thrive as a workhorse.

His past two college football seasons included him finishing 16th and 4th among all running backs in PFSN’s Impact Rankings. He recorded 1,652 scrimmage yards in his final year with Notre Dame and also scored 18 rushing touchdowns.

PFSN’s Big Board currently has him ranked as the top running back and 4th overall player among prospects in all positions. His admitted aspirations seem to be attainable, so it will be interesting to see where he lands in the draft with his elite outlook.
