President Donald Trump’s Golf Club Seems to Have Aired Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show Instead of Turning Point USA’s

Donald Trump has long been critical of Bad Bunny, and he was openly opposed to the NFL selecting the Grammy-winning artist for the role.

President Donald Trump was not inside Levi’s Stadium for Super Bowl 60, but his presence lingered over the night anyway, hovering somewhere between a Truth Social post and a television screen glowing at Mar-a-Lago.

As millions of viewers watched Bad Bunny take over the Super Bowl halftime stage in Santa Clara, California, Trump was reportedly watching from Florida, where the performance prompted one of now-familiar public rebukes.

Donald Trump’s Golf Club Seemingly Played Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show

Posting Donald Trump’s remarks on X, OutKick founder Clay Travis summarized the mood succinctly: Trump hated it, and also wanted the NFL to rethink its new kickoff rule. Trump’s own words were far less restrained.

Calling the halftime show “absolutely terrible” and “one of the worst, EVER,” Trump framed the performance as a cultural affront, arguing it failed to represent American success, creativity, and excellence. He criticised the language barrier, claimed viewers could not understand the lyrics, and took particular issue with the choreography.

The President then widened the lens, folding the halftime show into broader grievances about the media, national identity, and even the stock market, before signing off with a familiar political slogan.

Now, the story takes a turn, the kind that feels almost too on-the-nose to be real. A video posted on X appears to show Bad Bunny’s halftime performance playing on large screens inside Trump’s own golf club during a Super Bowl watch party.

To be clear, the footage has not been independently verified as of now. There is no confirmation of when the video was recorded, where exactly it was filmed, or whether the broadcast was intentionally left on during the halftime show. Still, the clip appears to show the performance playing, contradicting Trump’s public criticism of Bad Bunny.

There was an alternative program some Trump supporters had planned to watch instead:  Turning Point USA, the conservative organization founded by the late Charlie Kirk and now led by his widow, Erika Kirk, promoted its own halftime event featuring Kid Rock.

The parallel production was positioned as a cultural alternative for viewers uninterested in Bad Bunny’s performance or the NFL’s entertainment choices.

Trump has long been critical of Bad Bunny, and he was openly opposed to the NFL selecting the Grammy-winning artist for such a prominent role. Bad Bunny, in turn, has avoided touring the continental United States, citing concerns that Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids could endanger fans attending his shows.
