The Super Bowl is fast approaching. The New England Patriots will be one of the teams facing the dangerous Seattle Seahawks. In two weeks, the NFL will have its latest champion. It’s one of the most significant entertainment events in America each year, and the NFL went out and got one of the world’s most prominent musical artists, Bad Bunny, to be the halftime performer.
President Trump had his own opinion on the NFL’s decision to have Bad Bunny perform at the Super Bowl.
Donald Trump Airs Out His Opinion on the Super Bowl Performances
Trump is not a fan of Bad Bunny performing at the Super Bowl. Bad Bunny has been outspoken on his opinion on Trump and the enforcement of ICE across the country. He didn’t perform in the continental United States during his tour because of fears that ICE would get involved with his fans.
Green Day is also set to perform before the game, bringing a new vibe to the biggest sporting event of the year. Green Day has also been a critic of Trump’s administration. They’ve changed lyrics to their song to convey their thoughts on Trump and his governance.
Trump didn’t like that the two performers had gone after him and had disrespected him.
“I’m anti-them,” Trump said. “I think it’s a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible.”
Trump was in attendance for last year’s Super Bowl. This season, he won’t be in attendance as the Super Bowl is too far away in San Francisco.
The Super Bowl should be a treat for fans of all kinds. Some fans will tune in for the musical performances, while others will be dead set on the football. Both parts should be entertaining and appeal to fans excited for the final game of the 2025 season.
The Patriots are vying for an NFL record seventh Lombardi trophy. They’ll have their hands full to win it, but their remarkable turnaround shows they can win any game. Their playoff run has been easy, but they can only beat what’s in front of them, and they’ve done just that.
The Seahawks are aiming to get back to the Super Bowl for the first time since the Malcolm Butler disaster. Now, they’ll get their chance at revenge and win the Super Bowl against the Patriots that they were so close to taking.
Regardless, NFL fans will get to watch two dominant defenses take on some of the league’s most intriguing offensive weapons. It should be a classic game in a season that has had a collection of phenomenal games.
