Denver Broncos Fantasy Outlooks: Ranking the Best Players From Bo Nix to Courtland Sutton

The Broncos' offense is No. 12 in PFSN's Offense Impact Score, while the Jaguars' defense is No. 9 in PFSN's Defense Impact Score.

The Denver Broncos’ offense is No. 12 in PFSN’s Offense Impact Score, while the Jacksonville Jaguars’ defense is No. 9 in PFSN’s Defense Impact Score. The question becomes, who should you start in fantasy football on the Broncos? Well, set it and forget it pertaining to quarterback Bo Nix and wide receiver Courtland Sutton. That said, there are two other players to watch out for in Week 16 as well. Let’s go.

Bo Nix

For the Broncos to have a chance in Week 16, the offense must air the ball out. Good thing Nix has 300-plus scrimmage yards in three of his past five games, attempting 34-plus pass attempts in four games in that span as well. In addition, Nix has at least a 64% completion percentage in four of those games. In Week 15, though, Nix totaled four passing touchdowns. It’s time to trust him in the fantasy football playoffs.

Courtland Sutton

In his past five games, Sutton has 38 targets, 25 receptions (five receptions per game), 320 yards (64 yards per game), and two touchdowns. He’s looking like pre-injury 2019 Sutton (124-72-1,112-6 stat line). The Jaguars’ defense allows the 13th-most passing yards per game to opposing offenses as well (222.2).

Troy Franklin

So, flex Franklin in Week 16 as well. After back-to-back duds, he bounced back in Week 15 (6-685-1 stat line). Although with fellow wide receiver Pat Bryant out last week, Franklin only totaled a 50% offensive snap share. The latter’s past three games have actually been his lowest snap shares of the season as well. But look for Franklin’s snap share to go up to starter levels in Week 16. The Broncos’ offense will need him.

Evan Engram

Here’s a fun fact: tight end Adam Trautman has outsnapped fellow tight end Evan Engram 527-384 (55.89% to 40.72%). But it’s a revenge game this week for the latter. And the Jaguars’ defense allows the fourth-most fantasy points to TEs. TE streamers unite.

RJ Harvey

On the other side of the coin, don’t start Harvey in Week 16. The Jaguars’ defense allows the fewest rushing yards per game to opposing offenses and the fifth-fewest fantasy points to running backs. Harvey, meanwhile, a starter round pick, has totaled 65-plus scrimmage yards in two of four games since becoming the Broncos’ lead back.
