With the NFL now entering Week 16 and moving toward the end of the 2025 regular season, teams are focused on maintaining player health and availability. Even so, several players are expected to spend time on the sidelines.
Tracking injuries to key players is essential for NFL fans and fantasy managers alike. Knowing who may be out or limited in upcoming games can shape expectations. Here’s a breakdown of notable injuries and what to know heading into the week.
WRs Davante Adams and Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams
Update 12/17: Rams wide receiver Davante Adams, who is dealing with knee and hamstring injuries, has been listed as doubtful for Thursday night’s game against the Seattle Seahawks, according to NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero.
Adams was forced to leave Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions with a hamstring injury.
According to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, Adams is considered week-to-week and could be sidelined for the Rams’ Thursday night game against the Seattle Seahawks. The Rams defeated the Lions 41-34 on Sunday.
On Tuesday, ESPN NFL analyst Peter Schrager, appearing on ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show,” said he expects Adams to miss Thursday night’s game.

“This is the biggest game of the season for the Rams and Seahawks,” Schrager said. “I would think it’s unlikely that Davante Adams plays because it’s such a quick turnaround. … I would be shocked if we see Davante Adams.”
Meanwhile, fellow Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua posted a career-high 181 receiving yards in the win. During the game, Nacua was tackled hard and went down on the field.
Rams medical personnel assisted Nacua on the field and escorted him to the sideline. A report later indicated Nacua cramped up and did not suffer a more serious injury. As of Tuesday, no further updates were available regarding his status.
According to the PFSN NFL WR Impact metrics, Adams has an impact score of 74.0 and grades out at a C, while Nacua owns a 99.6 impact score and an A+ grade.
RBs Alvin Kamara and Devin Neal, WR Devaughn Vele, New Orleans Saints
Update 12/18: On Thursday, Saints running back Devin Neal was placed on Injured Reserve, ending his season, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Update 12/17: On Wednesday, Saints head coach Kellen Moore said that running back Devin Neal and wide receiver Devaughn Vele have been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the New York Jets, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Saints running back Alvin Kamara is still dealing with ankle and knee injuries that kept him out of last Sunday’s game. As of Tuesday, the Saints had not provided an update on Kamara’s status for Week 16. According to the PFSN NFL RB Impact metric, Kamara has an impact score of 70.0 and grades out at a C-.
The Saints are scheduled to release their first injury report on Wednesday, which should provide more clarity on Kamara’s availability.
WR Christian Watson, RB Josh Jacobs, DE Micah Parsons, S Evan Williams, and OT Zach Tom, Green Bay Packers
Update 12/18: On Thursday, Packers running back Josh Jacob and wide receiver Christian Watson were listed as questionable for Saturday night’s game against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Update 12/17:Â On Wednesday, the Packers officially placed defensive end Micah Parsons on Injured Reserve, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. Also on Wednesday, it was revealed that safety Evan Williams sustained a sprained MCL on the same play that Parsons got hurt, according to ESPN NFL Nation Packers reporter Rob Demovsky. Additionally, on Wednesday, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said he expected to see wide receiver Christian Watson at Wednesday’s practice on a limited basis.
Watson suffered a shoulder injury on Sunday, but it is not considered serious.
On Tuesday, LaFleur said Watson and offensive tackle Zach Tom, who exited Sunday’s game with a knee injury, “will be given until game day to try and play,” according to Packers Report reporter Eli Berkovits. Watson has an impact score of 88.9 and grades out at a B+ under the PFSN NFL WR Impact metrics.

Parsons suffered a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the 2025 season. On Monday, Parsons posted a statement on social media addressing the injury.
“I may be sidelined, but I am not defeated,” Parsons wrote. “This injury is my greatest test – a moment God allowed to strengthen my testimony. I believe He walks with me through this storm and chose me for this fight because He knew my heart could carry it.
“I’m deeply grateful to the Packers organization and my teammates for their unwavering support, love, and belief in me during this season,” Parsons wrote. “I trust His timing, His plan, and His purpose. I will rise again.”
TE Dalton Kincaid, DT Jordan Phillips, K Matt Prater, OT Chase Lundt, Buffalo Bills
Update 12/19: On Friday, Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid, who has been dealing with a knee injury, was a full participant at Friday’s practice, according to the Bills’ injury report. Bills head coach Sean McDermott on Friday, though, ruled out defensive tackle Jordan Phillips, kicker Matt Prater, and offensive tackle for Sunday’s game, according to the Bills’ injury report.
WR CeeDee Lamb, RB Javonte Williams, TE Jake Ferguson, LT Tyler Guyton, DT Quinnen Williams, Dallas Cowboys
Update 12/19: On Friday, Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who has been dealing with an illness, was back on the practice field for Dallas. Javonte Williams, who has been dealing with a stinger this week, told reporters on Thursday that he’s good to go this week. Left tackle Tyler Guyton has been ruled out for Sunday and defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, while listed as questionable on the Cowboys’ injury report, was a full participant at Friday’s practice.
Update 12/17: On Wednesday, Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb did not practice due to an illness. Running back Javonte Williams, who is dealing with a neck injury, was limited in practice, according to the Cowboys’ injury report. Tight end Jake Ferguson, who has been dealing with a calf injury, was a full go at practice.
QB Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
Update 12/18: On Thursday, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, who was out of Wednesday’s practice with an illness, returned to full practice, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
QB Anthony Richardson Sr., Indianapolis Colts
Update 12/18: On Thursday, Colts head coach Shane Steichen announced that the team was opening the 21-day practice window this week for quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr., according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
WR Drake London, Atlanta Falcons
Update 12/19: On Friday, Falcons head coach Raheem Morris said that wide receiver Drake London is listed as questionable with a knee injury, but Morris expects London to be ready for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, according to NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero.
Update 12/17: On Wednesday, Falcons wide receiver Drake London, who has been dealing with a knee injury, was a limited participant in practice, according to NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero. It marked the first time that London has practiced since suffering a PCL sprain on Nov. 16
QB Patrick Mahomes, WR Rashee Rice, Kansas City Chiefs
Update 12/19: On Friday, the Chiefs ruled out wide receiver Rashee Rice and a host of other players for Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. Other Chiefs players ruled out include Leo Chenal, Jaylon Moore, Jawaan Taylor, Tyquan Thornton, Jake Briningstool, Nazeeh Johnson, and Derrick Nnadi.
On Sunday, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffered a torn ACL and LCL and will miss the remainder of the 2025 NFL season. On Monday, the Chiefs said Mahomes “successfully underwent surgery in Dallas this evening with Dr. Dan Cooper to repair the tear in his left ACL. Mahomes will begin his rehab process immediately.”
According to the PFSN NFL QB Impact metric, Mahomes had an impact score of 77.0 and graded out to a C+.
LBs T.J. Watt and Nick Herbig, G Isaac Seumalo, CB James Pierre, Pittsburgh Steelers
Update 12/19: On Friday, the Steelers officially ruled out T.J. Watt, who is dealing with recovery from a collapsed lung; guard Isaac Seumalo, who is dealing with a triceps injury; and cornerback James Pierre, who is dealing with a triceps injury, from Sunday’s game against Detroit, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. Additionally, linebacker Nick Herbig, who is dealing with a hamstring injury, was listed as doubtful, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.
Update 12/18: On Thursday, Steelers linebackers T.J. Watt and Nick Herbig did not practice with the team, which means they miss Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt underwent successful surgery for a collapsed lung. He did not play in Monday night’s win over the Miami Dolphins but is expected to return later this season, according to Rapoport.
Mike Tomlin asked if T.J. Watt has been in the practice facility since having surgery last week: “He could’ve been in the facility, but I’ve been in a dark room in the back.”

RB Bam Knight and WR Andre Baccellia, Arizona Cardinals
Cardinals running back Bam Knight suffered an ankle injury Sunday in Arizona’s loss to the Houston Texans.

On Tuesday, the Cardinals placed Knight on injured reserve, ending his season. Wide receiver Andre Baccellia was also placed on injured reserve after suffering a neck injury in the same game. Baccellia was carted off the field at NRG Stadium in Houston.
The Cardinals released the news in a social media post on Tuesday.
WR Noah Brown, Washington Commanders
Commanders wide receiver Noah Brown was placed on injured reserve Tuesday with a rib injury, bringing his injury-plagued 2025 season to an end. The move was announced in a social media post by the team.
