Frances Tiafoe celebrated a major relationship milestone by treating his girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield, to a romantic night in New York City for their 10th anniversary. The American tennis star went all out, surprising Broomfield with champagne, desserts, and a room decorated with white rose petals to honor their decade-long relationship.

Tiafoe and Broomfield, who started dating as teenagers, have become one of the most well-known couples in tennis. Broomfield, a former collegiate tennis player who famously served as Venus Williams’ body double in the 2021 film King Richard, has been a consistent supporter throughout Tiafoe’s professional journey.
In a series of photos and videos shared on his Instagram stories, Tiafoe gave fans a glimpse into the special occasion. One image showed Broomfield smiling on a bed, dressed in a chic, short white Stella McCartney dress. Another clip featured a champagne bottle chilling in an ice bucket next to chocolate-covered strawberries and fresh fruit. Tiafoe added heartfelt captions to the posts, including, “10th anniversary w my day one” and “My heart @ayanbroomfield.”
While the celebrations were underway, Tiafoe was also competing at the 2025 US Open. He started his singles campaign with a strong straight-sets win over Yoshihito Nishioka in the first round, and he followed it up with a four-set victory against fellow American Martin Damm Jr. in the second round.

However, his run was cut short in the third round by German qualifier Jan-Lennard Struff, who defeated him 6-4, 6-3, 7-6 (7). The loss marked an earlier exit than Tiafoe had experienced in recent years, which included semifinal appearances in 2022 and 2024 and a quarterfinal finish in 2023.
In the mixed doubles event, Tiafoe partnered with Madison Keys. Their time in the tournament was brief, as they were eliminated in the first round by the third-seeded duo of Iga Świątek and Casper Ruud, losing 1-4, 2-4 under the fast-paced, shortened format.
Looking ahead, Tiafoe is scheduled to headline the U.S. Davis Cup team, joining Taylor Fritz, Reilly Opelka, and doubles specialists Rajeev Ram and Austin Krajicek. The American squad will take on Czechia in a second-round Qualifier on Sept. 12-13 at the Delray Beach Tennis Center in Florida.
The tie will follow a best-of-five format, and the first nation to secure three wins will advance to the Final 8. That championship stage is scheduled for Nov. 18-23 in Bologna, Italy, where this year’s Davis Cup champion will be crowned.
