Fans were shocked when news broke during Sunday Night Football that Bad Bunny would be performing the Super Bowl Halftime Show. While Taylor Swift was long rumored to be the performer, she and the NFL ultimately couldn’t agree to terms on the deal.
Now, one of the biggest international stars is set to make his presence known on the grandest stage of them all.
Fred Warner’s Wife, Sydney, Comments on the Bad Bunny Halftime Announcement
There’s no bigger stage than the Super Bowl. Every year, millions of viewers tune in, whether they’re football fans or not. In fact, the Halftime Show is a huge reason why, as are the commercials and other fanfare. Regardless, Bad Bunny’s presence at the event is going to bring millions of eyeballs into the game, no matter who is playing.
With months to prepare, there’s no doubt the three-time Grammy award-winning artist is ready to take the world by storm.

One of the many individuals thrilled with the announcement was linebacker Fred Warner’s wife, Sydney. The San Francisco 49ers‘ wife wrote, “Bad Bunny for SB & in the Bay Area is INSANE!! Such a huge cultural movement/moment.”
The NFL has already revealed the location for the next three Super Bowls. Sydney, who mentioned the Bay Area, is referring to the fact that Super Bowl LX on February 8, 2026, is taking place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Coincidentally, it happens to be the home of the 49ers. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the only team in NFL history to win a Super Bowl in their home stadium, but Warner and the 49ers are looking to change that.

With Super Bowl Halftime performers only being announced a few months in advance, there is plenty of time before the 2027 and 2028 performers will be revealed. In fact, there isn’t even a date set for the 2028 Super Bowl yet.
In 2027, California will get their second straight Super Bowl as SoFi Stadium hosts the big game on February 14. The next year, Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, will play host to the Super Bowl. Looking ahead, the 49ers, Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Chargers, and Atlanta Falcons all have chances to etch their names in history.
Meanwhile, global superstar Bad Bunny will look to bring Latin music to the world’s stage. With popular songs like “Monaco,” “Yo Perreo Sola,” and “Titi Me Preguntó,” the performance is sure to get fans moving,
