1) Las Vegas Raiders

Fernando Mendoza, Indiana | QB

The first selection of the 2026 NFL Draft has seemingly been set in stone for some time now. Las Vegas Raiders fans are hoping that Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza can be the answer. The signal-caller is coming off a sensational 2025 season that featured a Heisman and National Championship.

Mendoza will provide the Raiders with leadership, toughness, experience, and playmaking ability both in and out of the pocket. With Klint Kubiak and Mendoza, it will be the start of a whole new era of Raiders football.

2) New York Jets

Arvell Reese, Ohio State | EDGE/LB

The second pick of the 2026 NFL Draft also seems pretty predictable. It would be somewhat of a surprise if the New York Jets did not take Arvell Reese. The Ohio State prospect is gifted with versatility, athleticism, instincts, and strength.

Reese’s potential is likely the greatest out of any prospect in this entire draft. Following the departures of Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams, the Jets’ defense needs to build a new foundation. Reese is the perfect player to start the rebuild with.

3) Arizona Cardinals

Francis Mauigoa, Miami (FL) | OT

The Arizona Cardinals seem slated to address the trenches with the third overall pick. Miami offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa is a strong possibility to be the selection.

He had a highly successful college career. Mauigoa is a young prospect gifted with size and athleticism.

At Miami, he played right tackle. With the Cardinals already having Paris Johnson Jr. at left tackle, Mauigoa could remain at his position. The Cardinals could potentially have their bookend duo for the long term.

4) Tennessee Titans

David Bailey, Texas Tech | EDGE

The Tennessee Titans could address their offense to support Cam Ward. However, there is also a strong likelihood that Robert Saleh adds a dynamic pass rusher who fits his scheme.

David Bailey, out of Texas Tech, is a long, athletic speed rusher. He is coming off a dominant 14.5-sack season. His get-off on his outside speed rush can place instant stress on offensive tackles.

5) New York Giants

Sonny Styles, Ohio State | LB

Sonny Styles is a specimen capable of leading a defense from the middle. He tested at an elite level in all drills at the Scouting Combine. Learning alongside a similar-type linebacker, Tremaine Edmunds, would be ideal for the New York Giants to see Styles maximize his sky-high potential.

The breakout season that Styles had in 2025 was impressive, considering it was only his second year playing the linebacker position.

Pair more experience with his elite traits, and Styles could develop into one of the best linebackers in the league.

6) Cleveland Browns

Carnell Tate, Ohio State | WR

Carnell Tate is a tall wide receiver with an exceptional contested rate from his time at Ohio State. He can win down the field, has great hands, and impressive route-running ability for his size. In the run game, he can also contribute as a blocker.

Tate would provide the Cleveland Browns’ offense with the go-to presence it needs on the perimeter. In 2025, he averaged 17.2 yards per catch and had nine touchdowns.

7) Washington Commanders

Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame | RB

The Washington Commanders take one of the top overall prospects who also happens to address a need. Jeremiyah Love, out of Notre Dame, is an ultra-talented running back. He has home-run hitting ability anytime he gets the football.

Not only can Love run the ball, but he can also help in the passing game with his receiving and blocking ability. Love would give Jayden Daniels the presence in the backfield he needs.

8) New Orleans Saints

Makai Lemon, USC | WR

The New Orleans Saints could go a couple of different ways with the eighth overall pick. Ultimately, it would be logical for them to give their second-year quarterback, Tyler Shough, another playmaker.

Makai Lemon, out of USC, is a tough slot receiver. He is quick, can run great routes, and has strong hands.

He is competitive at the catch point. With Chris Olave and Lemon, Shough would have a nice tandem to rely on.

9) Kansas City Chiefs

Rueben Bain Jr., Miami (FL) | EDGE

The Kansas City Chiefs add a highly productive defensive end who fits their scheme in Rueben Bain Jr. He performed at an exceptional level on Miami’s National Championship run. In the four playoff games they played, Bain recorded five sacks.

As a draft prospect, Bain is an explosive, powerful presence on the edge. He is a tough, physical, complete player who can also play against the run.

Caleb Downs, Ohio State | S

The Cincinnati Bengals must address their defense early in the draft. Here, they take arguably the safest prospect in the entire 2026 NFL Draft. Caleb Downs, out of Ohio State, is an incredibly smart safety.

He earned unanimous All-American honors in each of the past two seasons. With his elite instincts, Downs has the versatility to align at a handful of positions on the defense for the Bengals.

11) Miami Dolphins

Mansoor Delane, LSU | CB

The Miami Dolphins have a myriad of needs. To kick off the Jeff Hafley era, they add the top cornerback in the 2026 NFL Draft. Mansoor Delane, out of LSU, is coming off unanimous All-American honors.

Delane is coming off an impressive pro day that featured a 4.38 40-yard dash. He can be the shutdown corner that Hafley’s defense needs.

Jermod McCoy, Tennessee | CB

The Dallas Cowboys’ defense has to improve. Tennessee cornerback Jermod McCoy has the talent to be a great playmaking corner for their unit.

McCoy is a high-level athlete with his speed and quickness. He has the ball skills to be opportunistic, creating turnovers at the catch point. In 2024, McCoy had four interceptions.

13) Los Angeles Rams

Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State | WR

After addressing their secondary in free agency, the Los Angeles Rams can now draft that pass catcher they covet. Jordyn Tyson is the best one available. He is a tall and explosive presence who can line up in the slot or out wide.

Tyson can separate as a route runner with his quickness. At the catch point, Tyson has elite body control, strong hands, and terrific ball skills, making incredible catches. He can make plays all over the field on all three levels.

14) Baltimore Ravens

Olaivavega Ioane, Penn State | OG

The Baltimore Ravens could address their offensive line with the 14th pick. Arguably, the top prospect in this draft along the offensive line is Penn State’s Olaivavega Ioane.

He is a big, powerful, physical presence. Ioane achieved considerable success throughout his tenure at Penn State. After signing John Simpson in free agency, the Ravens addressed their other guard spot with Ioane.

15) Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Akheem Mesidor, Miami (FL) | EDGE

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ pass rush will have to be addressed early in the 2026 NFL Draft. Miami’s Akheem Mesidor is an older prospect but highly productive.

Mesidor can rush the passer from both the edge and the interior. He is coming off a 12.5-sack season with four forced fumbles. Mesidor had 5.5 sacks in Miami’s four College Football Playoff games.

16) New York Jets

Omar Cooper Jr., Indiana | WR

Offensively, the Jets need some pass catchers. Omar Cooper Jr., out of Indiana, seems like a possibility to be their selection.

Cooper is a fast and quick slot receiver with great hands and terrific run-after-catch ability. He is very strong and can break tackles. Cooper could help address the Jets’ wide receiver position.

17) Detroit Lions

Monroe Freeling, Georgia | OT

The Detroit Lions’ offensive line has a gaping hole at left tackle. Monroe Freeling, out of Georgia, is a specimen with monumental upside.

Freeling has a massive frame with length and elite athleticism. If he improves technically, he has all the talent to be a great left tackle. Freeling being the pick for the Lions would also allow them to keep Penei Sewell at right tackle.

18) Minnesota Vikings

Dillon Thieneman, Oregon | S

One of the biggest risers after the Scouting Combine has been Oregon safety Dillon Thieneman. He was arguably the best athletic tester out of all the safeties. Thieneman plays to that elite athleticism on tape.

Along with his athletic ability, Thieneman has great eyes and physicality. He has plenty of range to cover ground and make plays on the ball in the air.

19) Carolina Panthers

Avieon Terrell, Clemson | CB

Avieon Terrell, out of Clemson, could give the Carolina Panthers the boost they need at slot cornerback. Terrell is fast and quick athletically. He is also a tough, physical player despite his smaller frame.

With Mike Jackson and Jaycee Horn on the outside, they could use an upgrade in the slot. Add Terrell, and they could have one of the top cornerback trios in football.

20) Dallas Cowboys

C.J. Allen, Georgia | LB

After adding McCoy to their defensive backfield, the Cowboys now add a strong presence to the middle of their defense. Linebacker C.J. Allen is an incredibly smart player who called the defense at Georgia.

Not only is he instinctual, but Allen is a tough, physical presence. He is great at stopping the run. With McCoy and Allen, the Cowboys’ back seven defensively should be much better.

21) Pittsburgh Steelers

Ty Simpson, Alabama | QB

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ quarterback position is currently unknown. Aaron Rodgers could play another year for them with Mike McCarthy now being the head coach. As of now, though, that is speculation.

McCarthy will likely want a long-term solution at quarterback that he could develop. Ty Simpson, from Alabama, has only one year of experience, so he will need to be eased in early. However, he has the arm talent and athleticism to develop into the answer for McCarthy in the years to come.

22) Los Angeles Chargers

Emmanuel Pregnon, Oregon | OG

The Los Angeles Chargers must give Justin Herbert better support along the offensive line. Emmanuel Pregnon is an experienced guard prospect who could be a plug-and-play starter.

Throughout his college career, Pregnon played at both right and left guard. He is a big, athletic, and physical player. Pregnon can be a great pass protector that Herbert needs.

23) Philadelphia Eagles

Spencer Fano, Utah | OT

With few needs on their roster, the Philadelphia Eagles look to the future with this first-round pick. Lane Johnson is entering his 14th season and missed some time last year. Spencer Fano, out of Utah, could come in and develop early on and be an immediate solution for the Eagles when Johnson retires.

Fano may lack the ideal arm length, which concerns some evaluators. However, he makes up for his lack of length with his athleticism, which will give him a chance to start at tackle.

24) Cleveland Browns

Caleb Lomu, Utah | OT

The two talented Utah offensive tackles go back-to-back in this mock draft. Caleb Lomu played at left tackle for Utah and could be the answer for the Browns at a position of need.

26) Buffalo Bills

Malachi Lawrence, UCF | EDGE

Malachi Lawrence can provide the Buffalo Bills with an athletic pass-rushing presence off the edge that they need. New defensive coordinator Jim Leonard is coming from a team that had elite speed rushers in Nik Bonitto and Jonathon Cooper.

Lawrence is explosive, as shown by his 40-inch vertical and 10-foot-10 broad jump at the Combine. His speed was also evident in his 4.52 40-yard dash and 1.59 10-yard split. In 2025, Lawrence recorded seven sacks.

27) San Francisco 49ers

Kadyn Proctor, Alabama | OT

The San Francisco 49ers look to the future with this pick. Trent Williams currently has a contract dispute that is up in the air, and is getting close to the end of his career anyway.

Peter Woods, Clemson | DT

The Houston Texans add to their already elite defense with arguably the best defensive tackle in this class. Peter Woods, from Clemson, is a safe prospect given his ability to stop the run.
